For anyone watching who may be just starting, or wanting to start, working on bonsai, keep in mind that trees like these Dwarf Alberta Spruce, Italian Stone Pine, Allepo Pines, Leyland Cypress, etc. will all be going on steep discount soon. Drive around to your local Home Depots, Lowes, grocery stores, Walmart, etc. and you can come away with a dozen trees for less than $100. Lots of cheaper stock to practice different styles, different techniques, or flat-out just make mistake with that won't hit you in the pocketbook too hard.
