You’re a blessing peter never stop what you’re doing
Man Peter Chan is like the Grandpa people always wanted or maybe just me lol. He’s so nice and calming and awesome at teaching everyone. Great person. I also get a kick out of how excited he gets meeting RUclips fans.
This is it! That's who he is remaining me of! My grandfather.
Me too ♥️♥️♥️♥️
The pick-me-up I didn't know I needed: an old British man saying "namby-pamby."
i wish i had an idea what to give back to peter for all his work and knowlegde sharing!!! for now its a big thanks!!!
What lucky fellows to have Peter helped them shaped those healthy trees 😘. Give em few years and those trees will be lovely bonsais. Thx for for being generous Peter 👍, wish to see more soon..cheers.
Yes
I made one of these the other day, was so proud of it. Ordered the tree from herons and used a video Peter made a few years ago for guidance😊
You seem like such a kind man, and you are such a great teacher and presenter! I’m glad I found this channel
What a treat to both meet such a master Bonsai craftsman, and get to have one on one instruction! Thank you for your generous Spirit Peter!
So enjoyable. Thank you for continually inspiring us all.
Picea was my first bonsai for a forest. Very easy to maintain. Thank you so much for this video, Peter!
Amazing to watch you work your magic!🎩🪄🪄🪄So kind of you to offer your knowledge to these gentlemen and for free. Bless you!🦋🦋🦋
Passion that we can emulate, skill we can aspire to. Thank you, very much appreciated.
If I have been able to do that for you - then it is all worthwhile.
Hi Peter, I learned a lot from your channel. I am inspired doing bonsai trees now. Your such an artist and inspiration to many people.
Thank you Peter for your inspiration and instruction
I've fallen in love with watching Peter Chan. He reminds me of my Ojichan who taught me many different crafts with the same patience, fun, and caring attitude.
Came at just the right time! I just bought 3 of these spruces to practice on and it’s still a little cold outside so I have been waiting for some nicer weather. I was just going to go through your playlist to see a previous post to see how to make a bonsai out when this one popped up so now I need to look no further! We are still in lockdown and when we can travel again is anyone’s guess so I don’t know when I’ll be able to get there maybe next year. Take care Peter.
I am a big fan of yours all the way from New Zealand!!
Thanks Peter for what you do!
Lucky guys to have Mr Chan work on your trees! Oh my !
Peter thank you, for taking your time to show your beautiful skill to the two you tubers. I have learned so much from your RUclips lessons.
Great tutorial Peter. Lucky chaps
It's amazing to watch a craftsman at work, and you're definitely a very talented one.
Thank you for all your helpful videos.
Best wishes from Australia
You are amazing!!! Im so excited that I found you.Fabulous advice.Thankyou from Australia, Sydney..🙂
I bought an Alberta Spruce one year ago when I saw the previous video "Making Formal Upright Bonsai from Alberta Spruce", but today after watching both videos again I finally started cutting and wiring my tree! It 'sort of looks ok' I think, but I had a hard time picking out the right branches as it had a split upper-trunk, so after cutting one of those upper-trunks I didn't have so much branches left to play with. So the top is a bit thin, I hope it will turn out fine next year(s). Thanks for sharing all these videos Peter, I would never have done something like this without them. Steven
Hey Steven! How’s the bonsai?
I would so love to attend one of your classes/sessions Peter. I would soak up all of your bonsai knowledge. You really are a wonderful, kind gentleman.
keep up the inspiring work as I'm having more time in my life to enjoy the process of growing bonsai thanks to your you tube channel
BEST 🌲🌳 !! MISTER PETER 🌲👌👍🤝😌✌️💯💯💯🆓🆓🆓NO MASK!!
Hehe so how does it feel to have thousands of fans around the world Peter ? :)
Its a humbling experience.
I'm coming from Canada next year to see your nursery and hopefully you as well. Not sure if I would be able to bring a tree back but either way just visiting the nursery grounds will make my trip unforgettable.
I would love to have a tree styled by Peter I’m sure jealous 😂
I’m a RUclips fan from Texas; I will come get a lesson from you one day!
Same here from north Carolina. one day and I hope it gets here soon.
Do come and I will give you a free workshop.
@@peterchan3100 😅sure you would too
Very great work! You seen to be very nice to your fans
I try to be nice to everyone no matter where they are coming from or who or what they are.
Great to hear that Picea can be struck, I have about 12 and still several I have not trimmed yet so I will give it a try, I have Hormodin #3 I use for my JBP cuttings so hopefully that will work. I have wired them and they have a hard time keeping shape so I have been trimming instead of wire on the pads, will have to give it another shot, love my little spruces but I wear gloves when I cut them, love the smell, hate the resin.
Amazing
Thank you for this vid!! We have plenty of picea in Northeast Pennsylvania. I don't have picea bonsai because I was told they are difficult to train. So this vid is very helpful. I can now have as many picea bonsai as I want.
Good Gentlemen, Very fun video
Nice job. I love Alberta spruce. It is such a nice species to work with.
Waiting for my picea to be delivered. I can’t wait to start one of these
Will do.
You have at least one dedicated fan in Denmark. If covid allows it I'll visit in September/October to see the maples in their autumn foliage.
Thank you.... 🙏 😔 🙏
Imagine the look of our front yards, back gardens and public parks if each person would just attempt to do just one bonsai?
I admire the enthusiasm but I think we would just have a bunch of butchered and dead trees. Lol
@@Iosis6 have a go ,I did and I'm hooked
@@fletcherlewis honestly when I read this I was thinking he was talking about doing Niwaki. I've got several decent little trees myself.I was just referring to if people tried trimming the trees around their houses. Their would be alot of butchered trees around
Sorry I was replying to the the main comment.
My mistake ,I replied to your comment ,please accept my apologies! Keep on with the trees;)
@@fletcherlewis all good friend
Beautiful! I'm going out and buy a tree and some wire.
It would be really nice to see what this style of bonsai looks like after a couple years
Cant wait until I can come down to do a workshop with you Peter
Now I need a video on developing the tree especially when and how to prune and wire overtime. How to develop and maintain the apex also
Nice ❤️ 🌻🌻 u tube session
Lucky fellows!
he loves to work fast ...like hes trying to impress.....lol . its his thing
All the pine/evergreen/etc stock I find here seems to be multi-trunk trees to make the shrubs/trees look bigger in the pot. I don't know if the is a UK difference or just better quality nursery stock. Have been practicing with them anyway because there's no such thing as an impossible tree.
Nice job Peter. I know the flowering time has passed for spring flowers do you think you can do a video on miss Kim's Korean lilac for next year.
First! Yaaay 🌸
Dammit!
@@brendammit We can be first together 😂🍁
@@walnussmeisterei ok that works for me, thanks for sharing! 💚😂
❤👌👍
One of my favourite species of tree. What is the best time of year to start working on it.
2050 we found a video of your grandfather doing his first bonsai tree.
????
Hi Mr. Chan. Can a more mature dwarf Alberta be made into a niwaki? I personally think it can but I'm slightly nervous about how it will look when wired. Thank you so much for your channel, it has been all i watch in the evening since finding it. P.s. currently in the process of rescuing a dwarf alberta from been planted to deep so I think a niwaki will give it some attraction for all it's mistreatment.
What present does one need to bring to get a session like that? Tell me anything you'd like from Belgium and it's yours
Seems like they just got really lucky. Right place right time.
You don't need to bring any present. I would just love meeting you guys.
Your hands must be like iron to handle Alberta spruce needles like you do. Great job Peter
We nearing our winter solstice going to have to wait awhile before I go anything meaningful to my trees. Peter I sent you a message on instagram with and idea that might help moving your big trees on delivery.
Hi, I bought a picea just like these from my local nursery, but the inner foliage has died off on the lower branches making them too long. Should i keep them as sacrifice branches for a bit longer, jin them, or just cut them off? For clarity, the tree is every bit 60-80cm tall and I already cleared the bottom 1/4.
Peter, do you have any larger nordmann fir (abies nordmanniana)? I've picked up a field grown subject snd there's virtually no decent guides/vids. 🤔
Hi sir
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
May I know what kind of pruner u using?
Hello, please where can i buy good wire at qood price ? (I have a nursery in Morrocco/Casablanca)
What species of Picea are you working with?
when I did this with a Chinese juniper in February, he died three months later. why did it happen
Just don’t understand why do I see the results kinda messy. Not what I expected
first
You are nervous Peter .( First 3 min shaking , fast and stuff ... ) The love from other make yu feel that way i guess... 👍💋
A free session for RUclips.
It maybe a free session but I’ll bet he’s charged a arm & leg for those 2 trees.
Why do you say that- those trees were just £49 each ! Wire and lesson FREE
My deepest apologies Peter. That is a excellent deal then!
@@peterchan3100 hello Peter. This was £49 very well spent. We had a brilliant day and it was a pleasure to meet you!
P.s save me one of those nice semi trained maples from your last video 😉
