Is there any update on how this tree turned out?? Id love to see it
Bald cypress are my favorite type of trees. I plant them in yards all the time and have two big ones as bonsai.
Jerome I love the style and shape. 😊
lovely inspiration right there ! gonna try this myself . THANKS!!!
Really like the pot
Love it!
Very interesting technique! Bend don't break! 😆 Well done!
Super cool!
Wow excellent job I did something like this to my tall pine tree
Thank you, Great 👍
What an extreme makeover this was! It looks really neat, and has so much character now.
Love it, great creativity, thanks for sharing
Thank you Josie for your kind words!
You just gave me an awesome idea for a mulberry I have growing in a pot.
It's very long and skinny and I was contemplating if I should cut it down a bit and try to make a weeping style, but THIS is going to be a much better fit for the tree.
I (and I'm sure all the other viewers) would definitely like to see more of these kinds of videos where you explain how to turn a boring tree into something really cool!
Perfect timing on this video! I have 7 Bald Cypress whips that I have been growing for almost a 1 1/2 years that I will be using 5 for a forest and was trying to figure out what I would be doing with the others, will keep this in mind!
Great video!!!
Very cool!
Tropical trees next
Wow awesome. Looks very dramatic. Great work with bending the trunk. I think the style you chose is very unique. Love to see some updates on this project.
Thank you very much!
Really like the final results of this project. Nice job!
Thank you Raymond!!
Awesome..
Fabulous piece! I tried to do something similar with an unidentified plant growing in my yard. Unfortunately I failed miserably.
I want to say it is because of inexperience. I potted, wired, shaped and watered all in about an hour. It died a week later.😢 hoping to prevent the same problem in future attempt.
Very nice 👍
Wow super
Thank you! Cheers!
The plant doesn't have to go to chiropractor now😅
Btw its neat!😍
I have to go to the chiropractor hahah

Aussie trees just don't let you do that, but very cool to watch.
Wow! Just Wow! That made me very nervous, LOL! It is awesome! I love the movement! Perfection!
Thank you Judith, glad you like it!
I’ve been wondering how you get the wire off when it’s ready to come off?
Great looking project, Nice pot. I just wish it had feet so it would sit more evenly. Thanks
I kept waiting for it to accidentally snap, glad that didn't happen. I'd have like to have seen it done in a non-natural styling, like a corkscrew. Maybe you could do it just for fun?
Is a whip just a single tall skinny plant?
What about rafia and wire?
Hey J! Yes you can absolutely use raffia and wire, you can also use black electrical tape and wire. This tree was so flexible, I didn’t feel the need of using anything in addition to the wire.
