"made with 100% british beef." thats either a 95% reg beef mixed with wagyu tallow. or they use worst quality wagyu on the market. which also happens to be british, and let me tell you. british wagyu IS not wagyu and theyre criminals for labeling it as that
I reckon the price drop was because they wanted to get their money back on the stock before the product went out of date. £3-99 is still a good price especially with the onion rings etc. I believe at one point the "high end"restaurants were charging £100+ for a Wagyu steak meal. £1.99 for two burgers like that is a cracking deal.
@@johndavis7944 I`d rather pay £1-99 than £100 + for a steak though John. Even if I was rich I couldn`t justify spending £100+ on a meal for 1 person,i`d rather give the cash to a worthy cause.
@@sparsh415 Top of the line A grade Wagyu is the most expensive. Wagyu comes in grades from A-D . It's scored by how much marbling is in the meat. You can buy C grade steaks relatively cheap, as they don't have a great amount of marbling, but still have the wonderful taste. Don't write off the possibilities till you've shopped around.
I would use an air fryer, no matter how I work it out, it ALWAYS uses far more energy than simply grilling. I can't argue that those burgers look amazing though
If they got them in for Father's day and have loads still unsold they obviously want to clear the stock before they reach their sell by date and end up having to throw them away. It's better to sell at cost price or below rather then make a total loss.
Most definitely a Father's Day cash grab scheme at full price. They know very well even at a discounted price they'll still sell. Cunning Basterds aren't they!! Well at least what you paid for has made two very decent looking burgers. Cheers Keith and Nat 👍🤤😀
🇦🇺👍you did well. They do look nice ,just seems a bit of thinking to cook things in time of each other ,i dont have a air fryer .pan and grill prep salad first.
Sadly all the commercial holidays ramp the prices up. Xmas, Easter, Mum's /Father's day, Valentines day etc etc always more expensive. But it looks good anyhow. I always wait until after a commercial holiday and buy cheaper. Great video sweet. Thank you xx
That looks lovely Keith. Bit big for me though as I have falsies and I struggle to eat tall burgers. I could just eat that now at 5:15 in the morning 😊
I think the cheapest way is to buy some mince, add all your seasoning, mush it all up shape it, and what you don’t use, freeze the patty’s. You can make more burger out of a couple of pounds of mince, than you ever could buying ready made burgers
Not real wagyu as that’s really expensive they just put that on the package because they think they are fooling consumers shame really as real wagyu is beautiful thanks for sharing keith😊
You are sooo right mate, they ike the prices up, they shouldn't be allowed, christ, you need a bank loan to go shopping now, i just feel so sorry for the ppl who have young kids, it's just me and the hubby now but theres no way i will give them my hard earned cash for gimmiks, i would rather go without but i am from the old era where as long as you can cook, even scraps from from the week before you can make a good meal out of. That looks delish by the way.
Hey there. All supermarkets are thieving from every one. Should be locked up, disgusting c....! Sorry but it makes my blood boil. Luuuuuuurrrrrvely burger mate!❤
Thankfully our ALDI here in Australia never increase prices for a day or a week, and then revert. We have SuperSavers on various products weekly, which equate to other supermarkets "specials". I think given the exchange rate between AUD and UK pound I think £3.99 is a reasonable price for what makes 2 burgers. That is $7.60 here. I'm fairly sure I wouldn't see it for less anytime.
G'day Susan, i'm from Liverpool UK and i love Prisoner Cell Block H i still watch it today ! It's immense. We are being ripped off and taken to the cleaners every which way you look Keith, first of all I DO NOT know how these super markets get away with calling it Wagyu, Wagyu is the most expensive beef on earth and definitely not from Britain, they are not Wagyu. I'm sick to death of all the ridiculous price rises in everything you look at, they are jumping on the band wagon, it's a rich mans world, as once said "In the future you shall own nothing." We are being squeezed to death mate. 😡😠🤬
Definitely agree with you Keith. Love the channel mate 👍🏻 Spot on 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers mate
Even at 3.99 that's still a good price these days, esp for wagyu burgers. And you made them look delicious 😋 😊
Wagyu? Is overrated and all hype because it's only a small percentage of Wagyu scrap offcuts mixed in with regular beef mince. Gimmick to make money..
Thanks

But it's scrap offcuts used in making these burgers. Not 100% quality Wagyu prime cuts.

@@itskeithnNat your most welcome. Hope you and Nat are having a good day today xx
I didn’t realise Aldi are ripping us all off. I won’t be going there again.
They`re not £3-99 is standard price for 2 Wagyu burgers without the onion rings etc.
Cheers mate
Don’t how it can be Wagyu that Japanese beef very expensive but it say 100 percent British beef there ripping people off all the time
Yes mate
I think shops are charging what they like it's a rip off - looks delicious though 😋😋
Agree Denise
That looks lovely Keith. Bit big for me though as I have falsies and I struggle to eat tall burgers. I could just eat that now at 5:15 in the morning 😊
Nothing wrong with a Breakfast Burger.
Absolutely John. I made a lasagne at 4am a few weeks ago. I eat what I want n when I want 😅
Cheers mate
Now they look amazing!
It was Jeanette
Oh Keith and Nat those wagu burgers look amazing! Still waiting for some vegetarian pie ideas ha ha don't want to be a nag! Xx
Coming this week Gill
Ah thanks Keith I will look forward to it x
They look marvellous
So nice mate
Fancy burgers like that dont appeal to me much. Id much prefer a normal 100% beef burger you can get for half the price.

Nice presentation
Good old cheese burger mate
Yes mate
Great job mate food look good 👍
Thanks mate
Never ripped off when I watch your videos, mate! 10/10. ✌
Thanks mate
Mmmm burgers. Well done Keith. Thank you. What’s the difference between ordinary burgers and waggu?
It`s much more marbled and the texture is different + more flavour. Defo. worth a try.
@@sparsh415 thank you
Glad you liked it mate

Ate both mate lol
