Always reminds me of searching for our first house in 1985, with my then fiancee (now my wife of nearly 30 years), when her parents kept interfering with every stage of the process and with all the wedding plans. The words "I want to live with you, want to sleep with you in a house in a peaceful world" and "don't let them make you unhappy" carried particular force at that time.

I just realized today that Stephen has like 10 Lilac Time albums out alone, over the years, and I've heard almost none of them.
I need to track down most of them, including the new one, which I heard was great. It's criminal, I'd never been able to
find them in NY here. Maybe Tower Records once stocked them, but I'm not sure. It doesn't matter now, since Tower
    is long gone.

Oh I loved this song from early '85 in the UK singles charts.
One of my favourite songs from my early adolescence.☺️
