  • Easy strawberry sauce topping recipe.
    It’s a delightful fresh strawberry sauce for cheesecake, tarts, waffles, over ice cream, and so much more! Adding a few spoons of this glossy fresh strawberry topping will make any dessert look fancier. The lemon juice balances the sweetness and makes the strawberry flavor more pronounced.
    Ingredients
    1 lb strawberries
    1/2 cup white granulated sugar
    1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
    Instructions:
    Wash, hull, and chop the strawberries.
    Transfer the blender and blend until smooth, for about about 20 to 30 seconds.
    Then add them to a medium sauce pot, heating over medium heat and bring to a boil, about 4 minutes, stirring.
    Add sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes for a thinner sauce and 20 minutes for a thicker sauce. keep stirring.
    Remove the pot from the stove and allow the sauce to cool completely.
    Once cooled, serve over ice cream, pancakes, tarts, or enjoy with any dessert! Place the strawberry sauce in a jar, cover, and refrigerate for up to 7 days.
