    This is a classic glitch in the matrix where the reality engineers could not fix an obvious flaw in the system but gave us a nice scientific explanation instead known as “visual effects” 👍

      When the speed of the foreground matches the water, the water appears to stop moving. It’s okay to be a little slow buddy.

    *Simple explanation not being scientific but applying some common sense- when the car was stopped water was appearing as it was moving and the bushes near the car was stopped but when the car starts moving then the bushes appeared as they are moving backwards and the speed of the bushes is faster than that of water that's why it seems like water is not moving but if you look at your left or right edge of your screen you will see water is moving as it was before when car was stopped.
    Now the question arises when the car starts moving, the bushes appeared as moving backwards faster than water despite the fact that water is really moving but the bushes are still, so why not water ?
    Because the bushes are closer to you than water and the mountains and also smaller, imagine your sight of view like this- \/ so you are viewing more part of water and mountain than bushes at the same time.

    It doesn't look like it's still. The foreground is just scrolling faster. However, it's kind of a trippy optical illusion. My brain had a similar glitch when I was on a train and a huge plane looked kinda like it was just standing still in the sky against the mountains. I thought I was losing it.

    CAN SOMEONE EXPLAINE THIS¿

    • @50shadesofgayy
      @50shadesofgayy 10 месяцев назад +1

      The objects closest to a line of sight (the foreground) will appear to be moving fast (because you are literally moving past them) and the larger objects (i.e. the mountain and the body of water) will appear to move much more slowly… because they are very large and you are very small. This is called motion parallax. It’s the apparent position of objects changing as a line of sight is in motion. If they continued to record this video… the water would still appear to be in motion, BUT much more slowly than the foreground objects and a little bit faster than the mountain.

      You can also observe this while driving in basically any instance that involves driving by objects of various sizes and distances. This is literally how people perceive depth.

      You have to think of the body of water as a singular object for this to make sense
