    Great video, and nice ride. Thanks for sharing! How do you like your Rocky Mountain Growler, my bike shop in Edmonton actually has a 2021 Growler 20 in stock and I'm thinking of buying.

      I would suggest only getting it if you can grab the 40 or higher, the lower model doesn't have a dropper, and is only 10 gears, the 2020 40 has been treating me well, went riding today and its a great bike in my opinion!

      I actually did this on my 2020 Rocky Mountain Growler (which is a hardtail!)

      How much cost?

    • @slowspoke1027
      @slowspoke1027  3 года назад +1

      I spent just over 2200$ (Canadian dollars) for it in 2020, I've put probably the same amount into it in upgrades since then though.

      Keep in mind there was a race at Sun Peaks recently. I'm unsure of what trails they used, but I've heard the race ones are torn up now. So maybe look to some other trails... But definitely ride Canada Line 100%

    Are your brakes noisey?

    • @slowspoke1027
      @slowspoke1027  3 года назад +1

      The stock brakes were organic pads and weren't noisy. I have since replaced them with metallic pads and rotors, and occasionally they are squeaky, but I find that they are only noisy if its really wet, or if they are cooled down after being ridden for a while. I'm used to the noise for the most part, but only because I prioritize stoping power over quietness 😉

      @@slowspoke1027 It's because the stock rotors are not meant to take Metallic pads.. the rotors are a cheaper metal base so they will wear fast with non organic pads. that being said I still would have donee the same thing :P
