- "Mystic Library" has easily been the most talked about episode mentioned in the comments ever since I started reacting to/drawing Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
It lived up to the hype and then some!
Wrapped it up with the Donatello/Purple Dragons rematch in "Purple Game" and my favorite line delivery in the entire series so far.

I love Mystic Library, it’s one of my favorite episodes, but it makes me so sad that we didn’t get the Raph episode where they explore his mystic power. Like it’s so cool how they push his power and I wish we could have gotten more of it throughout the series.
Considering it’s Nick, they’re likely why we didn’t get a lesser episodic nature to the show, unfortunately
Hopefully since ppl loved the plot of the movie, if we do get a continuation, they might allow the team to be more story focused

Yesss! The best 10-minute episode!! I feel like this is a significant mark in the show, because the facial expressions and movements are so friggin extra. It feels like the animators are all genuinely having such a good time, and it really carries over into the rest of the series!

As far as I know, there's never been an official cancellation. Granted, I'm not expecting much with the animation studio getting tapped for ATLA.
I definitely love the vibe this show is giving off. You can tell that everyone working on this show had such a good time making it!

Lair Games is probably the #2 most talked about episode. And I'm a simple man, I see the word "Todd" in "Todd Scouts" and it instantly becomes one of the episodes I'm more looking forward to watching.

Just you wait for S2 though, it has better and funnier episodes its great. Well I'm glad you're all caught up, and yeah I feel like I was just too mentally exhausted to fully appreciate Purple Game. Between the depression, thinking Library was the last episode, and all the camera troubles I had (I cut out SO MUCH of me trying to fix the camera.)

Alot of the times I watch your videos I draw along and it's nice doodling while I'm learning random things, like random shots I didn't notice from first watch or something about the voices. One of the books that hit the hush bats is called Chiroptera Mors which I think means "The death of winged hands", there's also a picture frame of Mikey as Pacman, both in the Mystic Library episode! I can't really do/say much but I hope you're feeling better-! :^D

I wish Mystic Library was longer just we had more scenes in the baby room
Whenever video games or games r presented in shows it’s hard for me to turn my brain off and not critique the game design for it. I can forgive this show for its ridiculous game, cuz it feels like the focus is entirely on Donnie’s hyperfixation problems. I can’t forgive stories like Harry Potter. Quidditch is SO bad (and I appreciated how the Owl House had that extremely validating rant on it lol)
Oh, I'm firmly with you in that I don't actually hate the show for how bad the game looks. I've seen grown men play way dumber looking games and can totally buy that Donnie would get hooked on one that rewarded him for being the most specialist boy in the world.
Also, yeah Quidditch is fucking dumb.
