      Coming out of the box, your sony ECM G1 includes an audio jack in case someone wants to use it outside the Sony System (and older Sony’s) that is not supporting the native Sony Hotshoe connection. Thanks for asking and stay blessed 😇

      @@smartnavy good choice. Its an entry level camera but it packs a punch depending on how it’s owner use and upgrade it through lenses and accessories. I tried it on with a gimbal, a handle, a cage and monitor. I’m even tempted to rig it out to function with cine lens almost everything is possible. I wish though if they can make another zv line in apsc but 10 bit

    Probably the best beginner microphone for sony apsc line period.

      yeah it's just worth it. specially if you speak close to your camera. does a good job picking up music as well. check out this vid shot outdoor with an outdoor performer on guitar towards the end ruclips.net/video/byl1sMtuVPk/видео.html

    After I plugged it in, it automatically connects, right? Is there a way to check if it’s connected/ working properly? Thank you so much!!

      When you plugged it in it just goes; no notice if it works or not but its easy to identify. Its mainly isolation of the sound (mainly frontal); that means if you check it with a headphone (which I don’t bother to do), the sound must cut most of the ambient noise from the back or side. If the camera can’t detect the device, you will be prompted that the device is not supported otherwise the moment you plugged it in, it should record through your ecm g1.

    Is it useful for reels shooting ? I don't do vlogging

      If you are not a control freak for audio and would just need a step up from your built in mic, i would say this is definitely a step up. For rells, i can imagine you will need to only capture ambient noise or probably quick audio capture. This should be a mic to consider. I tried it outdoor, indoors, loud and quiet environments, its just amazing to capture sounds without sweating on controls

    wow this mic seems epic! Wouldn't really work the same on a Fuji right?

    • @RestfulMotivation
      @RestfulMotivation  Год назад +1

      I really haven’t tried it on a fuji but I did try with other brands and it works using wired connections that comes in the box. Side by side with rode micro, its crisp and plug and play. You may need to monitor audio levels for peaking though.
