- It is has several weeks since we found our peahen's nest with 5 fertile peacock eggs, & we hatched out our 2 peachicks. Well those two baby peacocks are going to their new home today!!

Blue or green? I have one of each. Years ago I had one approved as a therapy pet. Took him to nursing homes and events. I handed out business card photos of him. He would "autograph" by punching a hole in the corner with his beak. LOL Quakers want to rule the world, so tell him UNTIL he can balance a checkbook the humans are in charge. Such big egos but gotta luv em!
👍👍👍. MaryCarl you got a great gift with that parrot. We had one for 20 years and she snuggled up to our baby Macaw and sing “rock a bye baby” to him and for years they’d talk so much when phone rang we’d have to close the door. Great talker and will be a great friend. Died at 20 of old age curled up in my arm. That was years ago and in January our Macaw died after 38 years with us. Pretty quiet now but wanted you to know that you have a friend for life with your bird. Not sure about Nugget with it cuz they do get jealous. Your Bird friend can help I’m certain and of course you’re any birds best friend 😁😁😁. Sure hope Peaches got the homestead all cleaned up should they have had a wild party 🎉. That would be just like Scott to call out to all the area announcing that you’re gone. OR maybe he just made his loud call to scare them away. Anxious to see when ya get home and introduce another big talker. Ya may need earplugs for all the talking about to happen. Never a boring video and so glad Mrs Cog Hill searched the back to find someone there and not a wasted trip. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

So following your video a wee bit more...keep your Quaker Parakeet(true parrot) clipped on one wing at all times...and be Prepared for that little Bird taking over your household. (Former hand raiser of Exotic Birds) .......and what ever you do with your new baby , DON'T CURSE around your new baby when teaching him to talk. They chew any and all wood...it's how they keep their beak short, like that chair or molding on a door...keep your eye on him....heheheh....you'll have a blast with him...

Don't know if you've ever heard of Calloway Gardens. One of my few trips since i'm an adult, i went to see my brother in GA back in 1990 and he took me there. It's where they filmed the PBS _Victory Garden._ The herb garden is phenomenal! They also have a butterfly conservatory that is seriously one of the coolest places i've ever been/seen. (Probably shouldn't take Nugget!😉)
Anyway, i did the rude/stalkery thing and googled that it's only a couple of hours from you.

I had a quaker bird for years and they are not for the faint of heart. The vocabulary it had was hilarious. Do read up on them since they are not your typical small parrots. Mine loved to cuddle under my chin but the min he saw a freckle or a hair growing where it shouldn't be....OCD set in. He just had to take it off. Loved that bird but what a handful.

I used to have a Quaker Parrot for 16 years. They become very good talkers. That blue one you have is a rare color. Most are green.
Inquisitive why the peacocks got rehomed ? I realize space runs out after a while.
Did Robert ask for them or were you looking for a home for them?

That Quaker is going to be a fun one. They have lots of personality and they love talking so watch what you say around it 😂. Just make sure you buy a big enough cage for it and it gets lot of love and attention (which I'm sure won't be a problem when you have MaryCarl lol)
What a bird that will not be outside lol? Mary Carl is a lucky girl with that bird.
We had a Quacker too, his name was chicken. He would cluck like a chicken and do that laugh from the Simpsons. And he would whisper in a low voice that he was a bad, bad bird.
Here on Long Island, N.Y. we have e few wild nests of Quaker parrots. They are huge! If you look up " quaker parrot nest in Brooklyn(?) N.Y. you will see a wild nest that has been that for years. People come from all around the State to take pictures of it. I think MC will love seeing how they live in the wild!! It is built on top of a gate to somewhere I think! Look it up, it's amazing! Glad your trip was productive! Hope Peaches didn't have a pool party while you were gone!! Have a blessed day!

The Tractor Supply in our area had a case of an employee being tested positive for COVID19. The store has been closed for almost 2 weeks. I am having to drive more miles to get chicken feed and other things we need for our homestead. I hate their employee is sick but surely Tractor Supply could arrange something to open the store. Farmers depend on them.

Once one goat starts labor it can set off a chain reaction. I've had dairy goats do that and kept me up all night in case the first fresheners needed help and a couple of them did need my help.

I told my husband there is something wrong with your goats. 😂😂😂 Tip stood there waiting for you to put feed in the bowl he was standing in front of. All the girls patiently waited for you to give them their treats. With my goats, when I put down a feed bowl, even if they are already eating, they all rush to the new bowl. When I give treats, the slower, less aggressive goats just don’t stand a chance. I told my husband I needed more goats with manners. He knew I just meant more goats. 😂😂😂

Congratulations on the 2 new additions to your family !!!! MC got a very pretty Quaker parrot. I had one that I rescued in the early 2000's . that bird had a potty mouth on him ! one time I was cleaning his cage and he nipped at me and yelled ooww at the same time I did he was a character .

We just went trough bridle cave in the Ozarks and kids loved it 👍👍👍👍 I was gonna ask why you needed new axles them you mention the life kit
Main reason is the axles have no leaf springs and basically there’s this huge rubber bushing made inside of them and that bushing wears out and since these are the original axles from 1969, no doubt they needed to be replaced 👍👍
That was definitely some Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor grunting when Mr. Coghill spun that axel😄😄😄

Didn’t know y’all were in my neck of the woods. Next time you come to the Shoals area be sure to visit Ivy Green, the birthplace of Helen Keller in Tuscumbia. My brother has a great bloodline of “nervous” goats. My grandmother bottle raised one, Lucy, that was such a pet. Granny would give her Tylenol to keep her from getting a stiff leg attack. 😳
This is October 24, 2021 and I’m so in love with this family and lovely animals that I’m going back and watching the old farm because I miss this farm interaction unlike the new 40 cog hill farm, it’s so different from others farms, but I love them 😍 anywhere they’ll be, this is just what I started watching with this family!🥰😢❤️🙏👍
