I personally love #4 cause I actually went to the NYC premiere of the film cause I suffer from the disorder he suffered from and it’s called Syringomyelia & I got kissed by Jim Cavieziel.
Firstly, of course, Bobby Jones A Stroke of Genius!❤️ But as a comedy it's mainly Caddyhack part one and only part one! But I also keep laughing my arse off at Happy Gilmore and the brawl between Bob Barker and Happy! 🤣
It takes saying again, I'm not a golf fan, but I loved this MOVIE so much, that I'm watching it right now. The cast, the point, and it's mysterious ending, leaving you with the question, who was Bagger Vance, was he real, and angel, or what, I'm learning more about that now. It was a feel good ending; that leaves more to be desired of it. My favorite character of the whole movie was Hardy, TO ME, it was his story from beginning to the end, he is the one who believed in Junah even when know one else did, including Junah himself. the expression on his face at the end sums up the whole movie to ME, he was right PRICELESS. 😁
Really hard to beat Bagger since I am a resident of Georgia. I know I am a little biased and Charlize speaking with that Southern draw is sexy and beautiful. Tin Cup is the equalizer and I have them both tied at number one. Costner nailed it with the range pro and even dressed up with a tie and baseball cap. The Greatest Game Ever is at 5. 4 is Caddy Shack and 3 is Happy Gilmore. According to my calculations
The Greatest Game Ever Played is easily #1. If you have never seen it, you need to. After you see it, then look up the actual history on that particular U.S. Open and it will open your eyes to how truly amazing a feat it was for Ouimet.
Legend of Bagger Vance is definitely number 1 for me but good list. Bagger Vance is so powerful and it truly makes you want to go out there and hit golf balls into the dark where you can’t see them.
I'd move Happy Gilmore to #5 but only if I had to include it. I'd rather replace it with 'Follow the sun" about real life golf legend Ben Hogan and played by actor Glen Ford. Then follow with Tin Cup, Bobby Jones, Bagger Vance and finally, The Greatest Game Ever Played.
What is the name of movie that began whit jack lemon at the beginning talking about golf and how he loved it even after having heart attacks on the course?
The legend of Bagger Vance.... nothing comes close to it. But I understand not everyone will understand its various depths. It's spiritual, philosophical and everything Bagger says about Golf, can be a lesson to be a better human being and eventually reach enlightment, even if for just few moments. It requires a sensible, pure, connected and present human being to fully appreciate it
You sound like an egotistical jerk. If someone voted or likes another golf film over Bagger Vance you insult them and toot your own horn. You need to grow up and respect what other people like.
Excellent list. Thank God, the most overrated movie ever, Caddyshack was nowhere to be found. For sheer nonsense, Happy Gilmore leaves it in the sand trap. Bagger Vance and The Greatest Game Ever Played deserve their place at the top. Both films beautifully capture golf as a metaphor for life. A well crafted list.
My favourite is not on this list, it is called Tommy’s Honor, it tell the story of Scotlands most famous golfer, Tommy Morris, and his dad Tom Morris snr. TRy this one out, I am sure it will make your list.
Watch The Boys From Sunset Ridge (2001) deep comedy with morals but also a movie even most golf fans havent heard of. I dont like sports but this film to me was as unique as Groundhog Day or Jack. Peace
caddy shack If Happy Gilmore is in this list then it's not straight golf movies comedies have to be considered without catty shackIs happy good more never get made
No. Any adam sandler movie should never be put on any lists. It was not a good anything movie. It was probably put on this list because there's not anymore golf movies since 2000.
The greatest game ever played is my favorite movie of all time
That is a really good movie
I personally love #4 cause I actually went to the NYC premiere of the film cause I suffer from the disorder he suffered from and it’s called Syringomyelia & I got kissed by Jim Cavieziel.
greatest game ever played one of the most underrated movies in my view
Firstly, of course, Bobby Jones A Stroke of Genius!❤️ But as a comedy it's mainly Caddyhack part one and only part one! But I also keep laughing my arse off at Happy Gilmore and the brawl between Bob Barker and Happy! 🤣

Can't be a greatest golf movie list without Caddyshack on it!
Bagger Vance is a truly great movie, that just happens to include golf. My favourite of all.
It takes saying again, I'm not a golf fan, but I loved this MOVIE so much, that I'm watching it right now. Just watched Bagger Vance for the second time today. I really love a deep heartfelt movie that makes me think deeply about my life
Dead Solid Perfect is in my opinion the best golf movie. Then Caddyshack
Any list that doesn’t have Caddyshack as the number 1 golf movie is not a real list!
It's not a golf movie, it's a comedy with some golf in it.
The Legend of Bagger Vance is easily my favorite. I agree with Mario below, nothing comes close to it.
Seven days in Utopia was an awesome golf movie
such a good movie, SFT!
I love 7 days in Utopia & the greate s game ever played
Utopia was great until the scam they pulled at the end to make you go to their church website trying to find out the ending

Random fact I found this year the US open is being play at at this course.
CADDYSHACK...PERIOD
Great list guys.
Legend of Bagger Vance is definitely number 1 for me but good list. Bagger Vance is so powerful and it truly makes you want to go out there and hit golf balls into the dark where you can’t see them.
The way I hit.. The safest place to approach me is from directly in front of me 😂😂
@@greatgolfer23 yep. I positioned myself in front of you, figured that’s where I’d be out of harms way
@@Sportsguy-rl8wj if you want to get some food you can go on into the house (I'm paraphrasing, can't recall the exact line) 😆
I agree with most of the comments how did you miss caddyshack, and there other golf movies that were also real good.
The Legend of Bagger Vance is my favorite Golf movie.
The greatest game ever played. Then a stroke of genius.
"Greatest game ever played" is amazing if you're interested in the history of golf, at least in North America
Ok but what about caddy shack?!?!!!
Tin Cup is the best golf film! Best story and most of golf action in film.
Bagger Vance is my choice. I love that movie.
100%, thank you
7 Days in Utopia & The greatest game ever played.
The Legend of Bagger Vance is my top pick, followed by Happy Gilmore on second place.
you guys make videos that others will not make .....i really love your videos .....unique content always wins audiences.
Thank you 😊
Bagger Vance was great!
Tin Cup. It's not even close. There's a lot of Roy McAvoy's out there.
Happy Gilmore should be #5!
What is the name of movie that began whit jack lemon at the beginning talking about golf and how he loved it even after having heart attacks on the course?
There is also the great movie: 7 days in Utopia
As a guy who claims to be into golf movies, i can no longer make that claim. I don’t think I have ever seen the #1 movie on this list!!!
Yes, I do agree with your list.
A Gentlemen's Game was a good one
Tin Cup at 5 and no Caddyshack. This must be from Comedy Central.
The legend of Bagger Vance.... nothing comes close to it. But I understand not everyone will understand its various depths. It's spiritual, philosophical and everything Bagger says about Golf, can be a lesson to be a better human being and eventually reach enlightment, even if for just few moments. I think ur talking about caddy shack
You sound like an egotistical jerk. If someone voted or likes another golf film over Bagger Vance you insult them and toot your own horn. You need to grow up and respect what other people like.
Greatest game ever played (1)
The legend of bagger Vance should have been ranked higher than Happy Gilmore
That was one of the most perverse things I have ever seen. Bagger Vance over happy Gilmore Your Internet history I’m guessing will be shocking
@@stark20ful perhaps we are a generation or two apart…..Happy Gilmore was funny but The Legend of Bagger Vance was soooooooooooo much better
For sure
This has got to be the biggest hot take I’ve seen in a while.
@@BigTexan4 I actually threw up in my mouth when I read it.
How is Phantom of the Open not on here?
So caddy shack is in a class by itself , and unrankable !!
What about DeadSolid Perfect. Randy Quaid?
I hope Bobby Jones: Stroke Of Genius is on this list
Tin cup belongs higher. Greatest game is a favorite.
In the movie the legend of bagger Vance we can see to bobby Jones (name of the second movie in the video)
Swing Away (2016) is missing
Excellent list. Thank God, the most overrated movie ever, Caddyshack was nowhere to be found. For sheer nonsense, Happy Gilmore leaves it in the sand trap. Bagger Vance and The Greatest Game Ever Played deserve their place at the top. Both films beautifully capture golf as a metaphor for life. A well crafted list.
If you think that about Caddyshack then I'm guessing you are a horrible golfer
My favourite is not on this list, it is called Tommy’s Honor, it tell the story of Scotlands most famous golfer, Tommy Morris, and his dad Tom Morris snr. TRy this one out, I am sure it will make your list.
Tin Cup is #1
Happy Gilmore should be moved to #5 and all those beneath moved up! Then, based on the five selected, you’d have it right!
It was a little campy - but a great story - Follow the Sun - Glen ford as Ben Hogan and his miraculous recovery. B&W from the 50's. Check it out.
Happy Gilmore
Not having Caddy Shack in the top 5 is a crime
Caddyshack is a stupid movie with childish humour
The movie about tom Morris is top 5
Caddy Shack?
Tin Cup every time...
Nah too much of a love story. Happy Gilmore all the way.
What about caddy shack
😮7 days in Utopia ?😊
was a great movie until you find out it was a propaganda movie when they make you go to their church website to try and figure out the ending
A top 5 golf movie list that doesn't include caddyshack is a flawed list. And Tin Cup should be #1.
Watch The Boys From Sunset Ridge (2001) deep comedy with morals but also a movie even most golf fans havent heard of. I dont like sports but this film to me was as unique as Groundhog Day or Jack. Peace
He is so cute. This is my most favor movie I had
greatest game
You forgot a Gentleman's Game.
Caddyshack…. Pure genius
The Phantom of the Open (2021) is missing
Seriously Tin Cup over Caddyshack?
Where’s Caddy Shack???
And if have happy Gilmore you have to have caddyshack 1.
Tin cup should've been higher, yes there a few them that are better than Tin Cup...
TGGEP = #1
The film about bobby johnes
Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius should be #1, The Greatest Game Ever Played # 2, Tin Cup and Happy Gilmore don't even belong on the list.
caddy shack If Happy Gilmore is in this list then it's not straight golf movies comedies have to be considered without catty shackIs happy good more never get made
Tin cup
What about , Who is your Caddy?
You missed... SEVE
HAppy gilmore number one but video was good
Golf Film
#GolfFilm
The legend of baggar Vance feels like parody Oscar bait touchstone nonsense
#GolfFilm
Golf Film
No. Any adam sandler movie should never be put on any lists. It was not a good anything movie. It was probably put on this list because there's not anymore golf movies since 2000.
Caddyshack all day long . Chevy chase shows Adam sandler how to do comedy.
Caddyshack is #1. Don’t ever do another video. Ever.
Happy Gilmore is such a shitty movie dude
Happy Gilmore? Seriously??
Few things are more cringe than the ending of Tin Cup
Happy Gilmore, like Caddyshack, really aren't golf movies: they're mediocre comedies draped on golf.
"From the Rough" deserves consideration.
Caddyshack not being on here is absurd! Happy Gilmore is stupid compared to caddyshack
Happy Gilmore
