I can just turn off the lights and turn my actual TV on.
What's the point of doing it with a fake screen?
Well done video though, I am gonna check out more of your stuff.
lol. I can see what you’re saying though… but your tv can’t be 13 inches and 80 inches and anywhere in your house. That’s more of the use case. Thanks for watching ! 🤜🤛
I paid €5 but it cannot be used with Bluetooth headphones. There is a noise. The error is known but has not been fixed.
Ah man! I didn’t even. Realize. I’m using earbuds with a dongle so it’s through the usbc not Bluetooth. They’re better for latency.
I think the return process is the same for app lab if that’s a deal breaker for you.
@@TheConstruct_VR No, I can't return it. But I'll wait until the developer fixes the problem. Who knows, maybe something good will come out of it.
@@oculusori ugh yeah. Good thing the app wasn’t expensive then. This is NOT sponsored but I’m using the Prism XR - P Vega T1 earbuds.
But don’t buy anything just for this.. like you said they may fix it. Drop them a review and mention it!
nice video thanks , i just bought the quest 3 am going get better headstrap for it so as soon as that done i think love more i bigscreen love it and normal netflix app thats was osom this my first vr headset no games yet tryed yet but got 512 so future proofing things ahah any way as for video lengh well combo of lon and short would cater to mass as too short would oo dam want more info , but then supper too long may be long winded but a combo or me for super short idea is to ask LIST OF THINGS U MAKE LIST AND ASK A LETER THEN CAN TALK ABOUT IT AND IF ME WANT MORE ON EACH LONGER ME ASK FOR A PLUSS OR D PLUSS pluss beeen more than short
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I’m going to aim for “just long enough” those 20+ minute videos are hard to get published frequently so I’ll do them when it makes sense to do it
I tried casting to PC for the first time and I noticed I can not see the Quest3 menu or menu screen in the cast. Am I missing something? I'd like to navigate the quest with it's controller for someone with no quest experience wearing the HMD. I want to show them around, take them on a tour (so to speak)? I know it's off topic but can someone help me with this? Is this normal" Is it the same casting to a smart phone? Thanks in advance!
Hmm this must just be on the “cast to computer” function. When I cast to a Chrome cast the menu is visible. I’ll try cast to computer and phone later today and let you know.
I did it with Chromecast to my living room tv last night and can confirm it works
@@TheConstruct_VR Thank you very much for help me out! The details have changed. I now see the menu and screen(s) in the PC cast...the problem was...it is only visible on the PC cast when the headset is in pass through. As soon as I remove the headset it goes to an environment and it all disappears. So really, problem solved. I wanted to be able to control the headset when another is wearing them...now I know they need to be in passthrough mode. Thanks again. How did you make out with casting and to a phone as well?
@@annode casting to the phone works for me. But I get your use case now!! did you know you can launch apps with the phone app and watch what the person is doing on your phone? That’s the best way to demo in my opinion. Because they can just stand there while you start apps or games for them.
@@TheConstruct_VR Thanks mate, I'll try it. That sounds very useful as well. In the other case using the controller itself, the newbie can watch what your doing at the quest menu and in apps to navigate or control, so they can learn to do it too. Thanks very much. ;)
@@annode happy to help!
Or, you could just watch tv on a normal television and get all spacial, ambient lights, reflecting correctly, lamps and all.
Yeah, reality beats mixed reality, but a physical TV can’t be bothe 13 inches and 100 inches and anywhere in your house. There’s a use case for both here.
@@TheConstruct_VR I was half-Joking. I have a Quest 3 too ;)
@@joonglegamer9898 😅 all good man. Just seems a lot of comments like this, I like to chime in and point out that reality is still better
So I guess Apple isn’t copying anyone here instead people now copy apple wonderful 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😅😅 Not really nearly everything Apple put in the Apple Vision Pro already existed in one shape or form in the VR/XR landscape. But. The AVP made people started to use existing hardware like the quest differently. I love it, the competition gives us more toys to play with.
Actually steam vr has done this but not through passthrough
@@pmb.sean380 yes! I was telling someone else about that. People were raving about the realtime reflections on the AVP… I immediately thought of SteamVR
