This was very helpful, was daunted by SoapCal so this really helped me understand it. I am a newbie to soap making and have been researching for weeks to understand before I embark on the practical side of actually making the soap. I have watched countless videos and enrolled on a course but this has been super helpful. Thanks 😄

Hi again. Do you find that CP soap retains the fragrance better after curing? I have often worried about the fragrance wearing off when exposed to air while curing. Same concern for hot process when heat is applied.

It really depends on the quality of the fragrance, I find that certain fragrances retain their scent very well while others fade with time.

New to your channel, thanks for sharing. Very informative .
Question I make soap for personal use and sometimes I go and grab a soap maybe 6 month old is creamy, but it makes my skin itchy. Do you know why?

I’d have to know your recipe to be able to troubleshoot, it might be too drying on the skin perhaps.
