I am a Taurus moon and although I'm a Pisces sun I can cry on cue when it comes to a sappy movie but whenever shit is personal I am ignoring the fact that I'm sad and diverting that to eating more food or doing skin care or taking a hot bubble bath but it will always be on the extreme side.
And omg my mother is most defo a hoarder, buying things in bulk and then buying things she doesnt need when she believes she does and she has uses our shed as storage for her personal things and she is a Libra rising and a Cancer Sun.

My moon is trine with my north node in Virgo in the 11th house and Saturn in Virgo on the cusp of the 11th/12th house. My mom was just as you described. Overindulgenant with money issues. Though I cut her out of my life when I was 17. I have had issues with Anorexia. You're right. We can be lazy unless money is involved. I have sometimes worked 3 jobs to attain a goal towards security. Eventually, I gave up my corporate life and bought my dream property, a lavender farm up in the mountains.
My Taurus sun sister has her Taurus moon conjunct Chiron, mercury, and mars (not sun). She doesn’t collect many things but pretty much every decision is based on her how her comfort will be affected. My grandson has Taurus Moon opposite Mars. Since birth anytime he gets out of comfort it's an immediate burst of anger. i have a taurus moon, and growing up w moved a lot and my mom's family in general wasn't good at budgeting , and thered be a lot of times where my mom would put stuff back and it was usuually my stuff. but now as an adult we had a big clash because her idea of helping me clean was to throw a lot of things out. so now she stopped talking to me for a few months and now she has become a better business person and she actually sends my money( for the grand kids)but shes breaking a really heavy chain.

My Grandmother, ( my mother's mother) died the year before I was born. They( my mother & grandmother) were very close, I am close to my mother and I take care of her in her old age (mainly physically) it can be rewarding to take care of a parent since I love her but it is a sacrifice in some ways.
I don't think a moon in Taurus looks at it that way, however, it is. I eat good but not fast food, mostly potato chips or other salty snacks. My mother is very spoiled lol, she sometimes feels like my child. It's too bad that moon and Taurus don't have family members who will help out as much, I don't know about other moons in Taurus but we really don't appreciate it when other people just take and take us for granted.

My boyfriend loves security and comfort. Any comfort item given to him is a prized possession for him! The thing that’s tough is his 2nd house in Scorpio & Pluto in Scorpio. His Taurus moon in 8th house too! He has lots of your tough placements so it’s nice to watch you and learn personally how it feels, along with his multiple 12th house placements. The thing is, he told me he always had things he wanted growing up even though he had to drink powdered milk sometimes here and there. But yes in regards to money, whole family worries all the time about money it’s so stressful. I’m a Taurus Moon, Leo Sun, Virgo Rising. Male, 60 years so just coming out of my second Saturn Return.
So much of this is spot on.
Living a spiritual life has been so important to me so I’ve not acknowledged the financial side of my life and am starting to understand the need to own ‘valuable items’.
My mother was odd.
My wife (a psychological astrologer) describes her as ‘mad’ certainly not a coherent soul.
I never supported her financially in any way and have lived most of my life with just enough.
I was a threat to both our lives by my birth.
I recently stopped working and yet with very little money to sustain me and my family because I felt I’d done enough work and been a support for long enough.
That has put me under tremendous anxiety but I am determined to pull out of that and to emotionally find a good feeling place until the storms pass.
You could say I’m studying Law of Attraction and the desire to change from the practical to the creative is gradually working but it seemed like I had to put myself in an uncomfortable position before I would Effect change in my beliefs.
Please excuse me taking up space here. When I hear something that hits the spot I want to comment.

Yasss I personally love my Taurus moon. Fits my cancer sun very well. ALTHOUGH my moon is squaring uranus so I actually face a lot of issues with my home and mother. I move around a lot and can't keep anything LOLL very distanced from family as well. But I will say food is my kryptonite. I definitely eat my feelings. Because I'm rly skinny no one ever took me seriously but I definitely know I had a binge eating disorder at one point.
