The earth always takes back what ultimately is hers. Those with Taurus moon know this at the deepest of levels, and so we revel in this experience of momentary materiality like it is forever.
I have Venus in Taurus and I love it when the Moon transits my Taurus 5th house. I treat myself to decadence with feasting, good drink, and good company (myself is good company, too).
My son’s moon is in Taurus and I found this video to be really helpful. I am not a stereotypically affectionate mother, a mother you’d imagine the archetype of what the “Cancerian mother moon” would be. But to hear about the yearning to experience life spiritually, beyond what drugs or other creature comforts could bring, is something I hope I can implement in my interactions with him from now on. Taurus Moon conjunct taurus ascendant. Always had to fight with the strength of my desire body. Has taken me 48 years to get the upper hand 😂. Have a natural ease to excel with cooking, dancing and art. Always wanted to acquire wealth to use for the greater good but still not there. I am a late bloomer though and never give up so I will get there in time.

For one, I can’t count how many of my poet friends have a Taurus moon. The moon of the bard ♥️. I have a Taurus moon conjunct Mercury and the MC (in the 10th), and I’m a poet/essayist/editor and English professor. The sky is heavy-handed sometimes 📚. P.s. Dennis Rodman’s Taurus moon is very closely squared Mars in Leo in the 8th (holy smokes does that ever describe the kinds of challenges he’s had).

Taurus Moon is like the Empress in Tarot, sat in her abundant garden, enjoying all things as they grow and prosper around her. Whereas Cancer Moon is like Yemoja from the Yoruba religion. Goddess of the Moon, life giving parts of the ocean, mothers, protection, creation and feminine mysteries.

As a 0° moon in Taurus I do have that connection to building habits and sticking with them, and with the material world (to have and to not have). I find it interesting that at least half of the examples have some kind of Leo energy (stellium, sun but especially ascendant).

I noticed that in the example charts the natives that had planets (moon or otherwise) in the last degrees of Taurus conjunct Algol either had terrible struggles or met a terrible or inglorious end.....Madoff, Gallileo, Marx, Frida Kahlo, and River Pheonix. For some the story has not yet ended like Brendan Fraser (who has struggled with bodily issues); Bob Dylan (jury still out) and Amma (who I believe is currently living in an Ashram.
I loved this episode. I have moon in Taurus and think one characteristics that differentiates it from moon in Cancer is that Venus bestows equanimity in the emotions. You roll with the punches....(it figures a few boxers were featured) . Moon in Taurus is not easily upset by life's slings and arrows.
P.S. The poetry was out of this world beautiful.

Taurus moon (and Venus) here. Martial arts cured me of an addiction to hard drugs -- although I managed to do both for a few years.
My son also Moon in Taurus opposite Mars and Venus in Scorpio, his favourite book growing up and still now (aswell as the autobiography of Jim Morrison) is Ferdinand the Bull about the peaceful bull who refuses to take part in the bullfights and just wants to smell the flowers...

I wouldnt classify Frida as a feminist. She was a super stubborn woman that believed in her northern compass. But she was also a devout romantic and thats why she took so much cheating from her husband(kinda bc she slept with some of his mistresses).

@@FromTheHippI disagree like being codependent with a man does not make one not a feminist like the idea of embracing masculine qualities ie independence has nothing to do with feminism which is just about equality. Often qualities of internalized misogyny get confused as feminism like the rejection of feminine things and embracing being more masculine which is rather ironic in some ways. I myself made this mistake in my younger years. Just because you have made this personal observation culturally in those who call themselves such doesn’t mean on a fundamental level it has anything to do with what feminism is.

As an observation it seems that none (except Bernie Maddoff!!) of the referenced examples have both sun and moon in taurus. I wonder is the sun a known inhibitor of the benefic moon presence? As this is related to my own natal chart i will check back in so if anyone likes to reply I would be interested to learn. Many thanks

Mother Teresa was called out multiple times for the way she actually treated the poor in her care. She infamously refused to give adequate or hygienic medical care to the people in her care despite having the funds to do so, and that was documented in at least 3 investigations… a bbc journalist team also uncovered that less than 5% of donations went to treating the poor. Makes you wonder where it went. I know this bc a friend of mine’s family members were treated. Appalling conditions!!!!
