I do love your cooking, as long as you use meat. 😊 And...I dearly love being with you on your journeys. I'm a 74-year-old widow who used to do all the things you're doing, but I can barely walk with a walker anymore. Your videos take me back to those happy days with my husband, Ron, when we were your age and older. He died at 55, after we had a wonderful 30 years together, in all kinds of natural settings. Thank you soooo much for helping me escape my sedate life. My mind is still strong, with a 143 IQ, but my body is giving up. With you, on your journeys, I can really "live" again.
Thanks for the shoutout bro…I was JUST in Cortez last week..wouldn’t be surprised if we run into each other soon again. Headed to Arizona now. Talk soon
That was the most action packed cup of coffee I’ve ever heard made. Lol. Thought it was the start of a RAD movie trailer with that music. Lol. How to say I’m old with out saying it.
I love how self sufficient you are. You don't just throw food together, you prepare a wholesome meal.I like the solitude and peace out there. Lo e your videos. Stay well and stay safe. See you next time!.
One of the tricks I learned in the Texas snowpacolypse last year was to use a spray bottle to rinse dishes. Use a soapy sponge to wash and then rinse it with a spray bottle. It conserves much more water.
This is an MVR in my not so humble opinion! (MVR = Most Valuable Reply). Here is another- do not start a campfire when there is a danger of wildfire! And, every day that you camp, start that day with a prayer of thanks for those who fight fires for us. God bless them all. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
When you are boiling noodles of any kind. When they are boiling lay a wooden spatula or a pair of wood chopsticks across the top of boiling pan. The noodles won’t boil over. Try it! It really works!
Loved the 80's music at the beginning. I'm 54 so the late 80's was my prime. Its been down hill since then. I'm prepping a truck camper myself right now. I'll be heading out on the road full time in a few months. Maybe I'll see you out there.
My husband and I started living in our skoolie "Ginny the Bus" 6 months ago.. We would love to meet you someday. Oh and Jonathan every new recipe from you, we call the Slumber Queen dinner. 😆 We really enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.
I started using earplugs about a year ago because of my husband snoring and dogs barking in our town all night long. I sleep really good. I don't like the fact that if there was a fire or something I may not hear it but I do think I'd hear the smoke alarms even with the earplugs in. They are pretty loud. Great video Jonathan 👍☺️‼️
Cast iron hot tip that will be a game-changer: Get a chain mail bottle washer/scrubber from Amazon and it’ll take anything off in seconds! You can reuse it forever, so it’s sustainable too. Also, I’m sure someone else will mention this but most places don’t allow you to move firewood from place to place for a reason. Invasive bugs can hitchhike and infect/kill the trees where you’re staying. We neeeeed the treeeees, bro! 🌲💚
Awesome video man! Just recently found your channel and I dig the video vibes and old school music theme lol also the slumber queen makes me want to renovate an old truck camper haha cheers!
Looks like you need to season your cast iron more. Add some high heat oil and burn it off (white smoke) do that 3-5 times and don’t wash it with soap and that sticking is gone. I cooked a New York Steak tonight and wiped the pan out with a paper towel because nothing stuck.
The two-egg bagel sandwich is a staple around this house too! Check out the Inner Basin Trail (in the "bowl" of the San Francisco Peaks) while you're up there. Road's a little steep but you should make it up just fine. Cool camping up there too, it's Arizona's oldest (and one of only a few) aspen groves. Drive safe brother!
Jonathan, I LOVE your honesty and realism. Keep doing what your doing. You need sponsorship you like coffee and good beer. Sunday morning Coffee corner sounds good and Friday night beer something. Anyway love it.
I enjoy watching your videos, and thank you for sharing. YES, DO NOT drive in the wind if you don’t have to… it’s a pain, and not worth tipping over your rig.
I like how you documented ordinary life in a truck camper. It's a great feeling to relax and escape for a bit. Later this month or next, I will do the same for a few days.
DUDE, that that… THOSE areas are my STOMPING GROUNDS… MAN!!! SHoulda came got me in ABQ area and I would have shown you HISTORY!!! Stuff that would have blown you AWAY!!! Never mind the 4 corners… I have some HEAVY sightings that would have knocked your socks off!!! That’s right DUDE.. but, I’m happy to see where you were… I am from SHIPROCK…
Coffee woo’s now take one sip to upload. 😂 We full time RV and tow with a Tacoma. Often think about adding a cap/topper so we can do some off grid camping again. Love the simple cooking ideas! Stay safe and enjoy!
loved the intro your music selection was great I always enjoy watching your videos on the weekends i lived in my 1993 gmc sierra in my 8ft topper for 3 months up in northern Minnesota enjoyed all of it especially the fishing hope you have have safe travels and keep exploring all this country has to offer there's a lot to be seen, to much for this lifetime but it don't hurt to put a good dent in it, keep up the great content and god bless looking forward to the next video
try to find 2 half gallon ice cream containers use them to hold the water one for first rince and the second to remove the rest of the soap and add some bleach to sanitise. when the water does out here in the Philippines it uses less water
I was there last year four corners 👍🏻just to get pictures taken 😂The time i went I don’t have to pay any fee because office was closed but I go in anyway 😊
There are gallon jugs that have filters built on if you need a better filtered water system. Big green jug with a filter at the spout so just collect water and pour
I like the Kikkoman Teriyaki sauce for these dishes. Make a lot of use for the Ramen noodles, camping and at home. On the road I do prefer to use freeze dried coffee for ease of getting things done.
Thank God 4 corners was closed for the pandemic when I traveled past. I too would of stopped even though I felt it a bit gimmicky. At the time I remember thinking how strange it was to CLOSE a line on a map. LMAO 🤣
When I was a van lifer- earplugs worked great for me- Where was that camp spot in the pines? Near Flag? A 250 dirt Ike is all most people need- you can find them relatively cheap- or score a mountain bike- great way to check out the area while your rig stays put. Stay around Az , Sedona- is cool. Dispersed camping out of town towards cottonwood. Prescott is worth the time also. Camping out of town- in the forest. Brew houses and great hiking in the Dells.
You can get a 50cc Honda Ruckus or Honda Trail 125 and a hitch carrier. Both are auto type shifting and would serve you well. No motorcycle license required for 50cc Ruckus. Great for small "go get this, go get that" trips.
I do love your cooking, as long as you use meat. 😊
And...I dearly love being with you on your journeys.

Yes, earplugs are amazing to cancel out noises, especially the noise someone makes breaking into your RV..
Thanks for the shoutout bro…I was JUST in Cortez last week..wouldn’t be surprised if we run into each other soon again. Headed to Arizona now. Talk soon
The shot of the Walmart parking lot with the mountains behind it 👌👌👌
The open road is honestly the best healing medicine out there. Life is too short not to live it.
Gotta hear that "woo!"
That was the most action packed cup of coffee I’ve ever heard made. Lol. Thought it was the start of a RAD movie trailer with that music. Lol. How to say I’m old with out saying it.
We got a 2-for-1 on the "coffee whoo's" today. That's always a bonus. Thanks, Jonathan! ☕☕😃😃
I love how self sufficient you are. You don't just throw food together, you prepare a wholesome meal.I like the solitude and peace out there. Lo e your videos. Stay well and stay safe. See you next time!.
Unchained Melody! This brought me back to the good old days
Wow, the rare “double woo” video. Christmas came early!
One of the tricks I learned in the Texas snowpacolypse last year was to use a spray bottle to rinse dishes. Use a soapy sponge to wash and then rinse it with a spray bottle. It conserves much more water.
Yup. I use water/vinegar mix. Or water/ hydrogen peroxide. Spray everything then wipe with paper towel.
This is an MVR in my not so humble opinion! (MVR = Most Valuable Reply).

I’m going to try the spray
I find that I usually cook/eat better when I'm out camping than when I'm indoors.
me too ... and I love my cast iron pan
I can fully believe that. The outdoors is a great place to cook ✌️
Nothing like waking up to hearing the 80s synth
Great Video wonderful camping site delicious 🍝 meal

Thanks for the Tofu tip and a new recipe to try. Awesome as always. Woo!!!!
You are so clean and tidy I love it. I also like your beautiful camper ❤️

Love the 80's movies music. 'No Retreat No Surrender'
If you use two cutting boards to squeeze the tofu. You now have a tofu strainer. Great videos by the way!
Really enjoy watching you cook your meals. Great videos!
Loved hearing Night Moves, fantastic indie band
God, if only I could find a Slumber Queen! You should offer some Slumber Queen merchandise.
They’re out there! Perhaps it’ll be coming in the near future :-)
Awesome video man! Just recently found your channel and I dig the video vibes and old school music theme lol also the slumber queen makes me want to renovate an old truck camper haha cheers!
This one is FREE if you ever come away from the west side of the country. Tri-State plaque where Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri all meet.
Got a 90’s knight rider vibe in the beginning. Very cool
Foldable cutting board-knife holder for the win!!!
Rocking out to the Righteous Brothers that's my mother's favorite duet
All the hard work you put into making your videos is what makes me not skip the commercials, thanks for taking time to make quality videos.
Interesting music 🎵 🎶 pulling 🎵🎶🎶
I love the buildup to your woooo! Haha I look forward to it in every video

Wow. Thanks for the cooking tips. Seems like you have a lot of cooking experiences.
Love the cooking segments…
I’m dying laughing bc the 4 Corners was so disappointing when I stopped by during my western travels. We all have to find out the hard way.
Opening sequence was great, appreciated the work you did with the editing. 👍🏽 I was like, “ Yeah! Rocky XXVI!!! I love this one!!!”.
I dig the 80’s music vibe. Your vid’s are relaxing to watch. Keep up the good work.
Why do I look forward to the cleaning part more than anything? Somethings wrong with me LOL!

It’ll be far better than using metal utensils against that cast iron.

Totally rewound the video and wrote down your recipe. That looked freakin' amazing!
I read the 4 corners are not in the correct spot but it’s now accepted as the spot. For 5 bucks, I’d stop 😂 Decent campsite Among the pines. 👍🏼
Coffee woo’s now take one sip to upload. 😂 We full time RV and tow with a Tacoma. Often think about adding a cap/topper so we can do some off grid camping again. Love the simple cooking ideas! Stay safe and enjoy!

Wow, Jonathan, you sure know how to have fun!
I hear you about the wind. I had a Vanagon that was not fun in the wind.

That recipe looked so good I'll definitely have to try making it! Loved this video my guy 🤟🏾🔥
Needed some earplugs during the singing section 😂🤟
I really like that camp spot despite the OHV crowd that tends to tread heavily.
When I was a van lifer- earplugs worked great for me-

Prescott is worth the time also. Camping out of town- in the forest.
Brew houses and great hiking in the Dells.
I love my cast iron pan, I still think you should invest one good stainless steel skillet for easier cleanup...
You can get a 50cc Honda Ruckus or Honda Trail 125 and a hitch carrier. Both are auto type shifting and would serve you well. No motorcycle license required for 50cc Ruckus. Great for small "go get this, go get that" trips.
