Ok I know people love to hate on Madison but can I just say: yes she has trouble showing emotion sometimes but her most recent performances have honestly moved me so much so there’s definitely improvement! Also, I think we can all agree that technically, her voice is the best in the competition. She also does a great job at connecting with fans during the performance, she always makes sure to walk towards the edge of the stage and make people feel like part of the performance. I can imagine going to one of her concerts would be so fun just because of her chemistry with the crowd. Lastly, many people like to bash her for not being creative because she doesn’t perform originals like Alejandro but she does in fact write her own songs, one which was officially released. I honestly think producers won’t let her sing her originals because it’s off brand for her and they want people to think of Alejandro as the songwriter. If there is one contestant in the show that had a significantly bigger fan base than the others, you bet they will do whatever they can to make that contestant look good and make all their viewers happy, especially now since ratings are so low. So next time you want to go hate on Madison just because she isn’t Alejandro, consider this.
Guys, she's only 17! She's a amazing singer. Just about all singers I've heard live don't sound as good as recorded. She has a great future ahead of her and she's my pick, hands down.
It’s not always about who can hit the highest notes or who has the “strongest vocals”. It’s about your sound and connection and style and she still has a lot to learn about all those. The others already have their sound figured out. She’s just another generic pop artist for me right now.
