It's great to see Virgin are fine tuning the experience BUT I agree with Paul, the App issues would drive me nuts. Basically with any IT system you need a back up, if it's paper so be it, but don't leave people hanging. Maybe an interactive channel on the TV to activate if it goes down. So yes that is poor.
However, that dance venue looked flippin amazing, oh boy could they move, totally hypnotic, I could watch that all night !! I am finding the variety of venues and entertainment on Virgin more appealing with every vlog I watch. They will find their feet and I'm gonna have to eat humble pie and say I hope they're here to stay. We need something like this in the cruise industry. A VERY interesting video indeed. Virgin is so much fun, the energy around the ship is palpable, we really like the fun vibe. Dance Party was brilliant!

First of all, I LOVE the curtains in your cabin.!! lol. Pity about the app but pleased to see it did not hinder your enjoyment, Hopefully Virgin get it sorted out pronto. The cabin is very spacious, Nice to see it. Looking forward as always to the next installment.
The curtains were very cool, lots are loving them! The cabin was very comfortable and we did love the layout. episode 2 coming soon!

Great video! I love Paul's rants, he talks a lot of sense. I find it really exciting returning to the cabin at night and finding the daily program of the following day's events so it's a shame that Virgin don't provide a paper copy. The food so far looks great!

Paul & Carole, a male and female mermaid each? Your cabin had a nice balcony, complete with a life boat with a live crew! The deck signs are the same old story as Scarlet so that I’ll smuggle my own party animals to smell the Galley. At least I won’t be starved after getting lost on the big fat ship. My Lucy is a hot female dog and a talking Chow. I do her voiceover myself and also dance her. I look forward to our hen party I never had. June of London

Valiant Lady looks as beautiful as her sister ship! it's such a shame that you had those issues with the app 😕 That's definitely a great cabin layout though - bed by the balcony is a big tick in our book 😊 Was it the same layout for all balcony cabins do you know, or does it alternate (like Iona)?

Thanks Cathy! The app was so frustrating, we did find a paper alternative in episode 2, but Virgin don't advertise the fact! We just realised our outfits matched the curtains too! 🤣🤣

Love your vlogs. Lovely couple.. I don't think I like the virgin cruise ships, reminds me of the 18 to 30's club. The interior looks like the travelodge rooms with the colour scheme, witch is not a bad thing for travelodge but, the whole point of cruising is a touch of class.. This is more for the younger generation, even though us more mature people are still young at heart. I think 3 day's would be enough for me on this ship.. Thanks Carole and Paul.. Great video.. One other thing which would have been useful would have been to have your account linked to the cabin tv - at Least then if the app didn’t work - you could still book dining or events or see your account on your cabin tv.

Thank you for your vlog. Virgin really does not look like a match for us though. The safety video was awful! Then the music dance show...again too loud and not for us! The food did look great though.

At 45 yrs of age and 24 cruises under my belt I would not step foot on a Virgin Cruise. Looks like a floating 18/30 . The decor is hideous. Looks like a cross between IKEA furniture and a European Hostal Hotel. I would feel like I'm on a cross between an Easy Jet cruise and an Ibiza night life Club Crawl🤣. It's way too indifferent to what we're used to. I'm too old for that lot. And the best market for cruising is over 40s. We've got more disposable income. I give Virgin cruises 5 yrs.
Lol definitely is different! Will be interested to see longevity as it is a total different concept. We enjoyed it overall. We think it is refreshing to see some companies pushing the boundaries and not mass producing something that is already out there.

The more I learn about Virgin the more I am confident I would not like this line. I am not a party animal. I think Virgin tries too hard to be “edgy” and the result is vulgar and tacky.
