- We try lots of meal options onboard Virgin Voyage’s newest ship, the Valiant Lady on its first ever cruise. We review brunch and dinner in the Wake. We find out what the food is really like.
Find out whether I think Virgin offer the best or worst afternoon tea. Is it worth paying $19 - really the only time you can spend money for food on Virgin Voyages. We try it out the afternoon tea in the SIP champagne bar.
We try Virgin’s vegan restaurant - Razzle Dazzle and are in for a surprise. We try The Galley and Extra Virgin.

It was the first time I tried Extra Virgin and I have to say it rivalled the Wake and Pink Agave for me (which I usually gravitate to) - that New York strip was top notch. I had a lovely affogato and hubby had the bombolini and said they were delicious ( they must have been good because he didn’t share!) Argh why do I watch these videos when I’m hungry.
Haha! Never watch a food video on an empty tummy, you’re asking for trouble!

Thanks, Mr David. As a solo human cruiser, I won’t bother any restaurants which need bookings. I always eat at buffets on any ships or any smaller venues as long as with free food and drinks. My Lucy & co will have to smell the Galley so I won’t be starved from getting lost on a big fat ship. But I’ll treat them the afternoon tea for our hen party for the price of 1. Will the Sip serve us veggie savouries? I’ve even drawn a table in my diary to plan from which stall in the Gallery to eat at each meal. The 1st being miso udon from Noodle Around. And ice cream after each supper. June of London
Morning June!! I’m sure you will love the Valiant Lady. The Galley is excellent. Doesn’t matter that you are a solo cruiser, so make sure you try the other restaurants, especially Razzle Dazzle!! Thanks for watching! David
Food wise a little of a mixed review there David. Interesting food fact in case you don’t know, there is French Fries we’re actually invented in Belgium 🇧🇪 but of course French fries sound sexier, and it’s slips off the tongue more easily.

I think the best cruise that fits to your taste is Saga cruise.. when it comes to elegant british teatime and very tasty food. No kids and no playtime atmosphere. Im sure it fits to your discriminative taste and age bracket. I hope u find ur satisfaction🍾 Virgin cruise is not for you.

Actually the food on the whole is very good on Virgin. I did prefer the food on Scarlet Lady, over Valiant Lady.
I would sail with Virgin again, I love their ships and the crew are super cool.
