Shad make decent luggage, so I think you'll be pleased with them. The mounting bars are hardly even noticeable when the cases are off. Much better than all that scaffolding on some.

Hope so. We're really pleased with them so far. It's our first Shad luggage. I hope it proves reliable and above all waterproof.
I'm still a fan of the pannier system on the Versys. Neat how that fixes, but the expansion gives us additional space if really needed

I like the oem honda ones on my crosstourer (and other models), they're not expandable but the fitting system is excellent. No bars present when they're off the bike. Two locating slots at the top and one at the bottom off the rear foot peg. I hope yours work out well for you, it's much better having hard luggage. 😊

Really good bits of kit Rich, that look very good. Nowadays I always want to know where stuff is manufactured. I use a 52 litre Givi Top box, which I first had on one of my Blackbirds, but after I sold that bike and bought my MT10, I wasn't too impressed by Yamaha's MT10 Touring type of Bags. So I use the box and a big roll bag on the pillion seat, if I'm going away for more than just a few days. 30 plus years ago, I had 3 Krauser boxes and it took a little while to get used to the width, whilst filtering in traffic. Is Carol going to get the same on her bike, so she can do the shopping (tongue very firmly in cheek)? The best part about this video, for me, is it gives confirmation, that you will be keeping your MT10, hurray!

Wouldn't mind the hand guards, but I draw the line at a screen!

Watch out for narrow gaps, the back,of the bike, should NEVER be wider, than the front,of the bike,or you might be like me,had to have my pelvis removed, rebuilt n'so on,a total, terrible thing, that you do NOT want ; Yamaha should make a MT10 Tracer, renamed The Hooligan,ha ha i'm on super scooters now, pretty good,be careful out there

O no that sounded like a nightmare for you. I completely get what you say. Just completing a Pyrenees trip with the set up. Used them in the closed position, glad I did as we did a massive amount of filtering on the way to the ferry.
Love my MT10 just wish the range was better.
Thanks for watching and hope things are ok for you now
