All the behind the scenes videos just hit me and while i thought i knew how much effort did you guys put into "Photographing the World" series, i think i realize it even more. Even in that fake video, which is very funny. Behind the scenes allowed us-the viewers and RUclips followers nearly follow you and have fun. Thanks for that and congratulations on your work.
Recently when I've taken panoramic pictures in RAW, there's a difference of colour cast and light in all the frames. I select all the files in Adobe RAW and make changes to all of them simultaneously. So why am I getting the colour cast? It's there in your example as well shown in this video. That's exactly what my panoramas look like. Please advise.
We extended our travels to fill out the lessons in PTW3 only to wind up with TOO much content....the western US travels will find their way into something we will wrap up in the future.
Great work as always! Just wondering if it is possible to view the behind the scenes anywhere else? Or if you can buy the BTS separately? Keep it up and greetings from Sweden!
Very nice. Even though I'm not really into such heavy editing, I appreciate Elia's style and works. The presentation/video production is fantastic. Unfortunately, the price is way out of reach for me, so I'm not gonna see the tutorials... :-( but I really enjoyed even this short intro.
I feel you, we will have discounts on them in the coming Christmas season (prob not PTW 3 though). Unfortunately the production costs on these things, esp PTW3 are insane so without charging a reasonable price we could never afford to create these. Taking a workshop with Elia makes these tutorials seem like a solid deal.
Lee & Patrick. It's quite hard to find your PTW3 BTS vids... please list the episodes below in the Description Panel ... and do a proper Playlist. Not hard! Cheers dudes....
You should do just a video one time with a really cheap camera. Sure it takes a little bit more work but people need to realize that an entry level camera can still get them amazing results. The higher end cameras just mean you can print bigger and take less shots to get everything perfect.
I'm actually in the process of printing images extremely large for an upcoming gallery hanging. I'll be sizing all the way from 12-51 megapixels, so it'll be interesting to see how the various cameras stack up when blown up large for printing. These days, you're absolutely correct. We can produce portfolio quality work with something as simple as a smartphone.
After I replied I thought about it and I might pull out my Canon t3i with the kit lens just to see what I can do. With my Sony I can usually get away with blending 2-3 shots even right into the sun. I'm guessing the Canon would be 5 or more but it would be a fun little challenge. IMO starting off with a less then ideal camera is actually the best way to learn since you gotta problem solve a lot more. Something like the Fuji medium format you can get away with not getting the exposure completely right since you end up having so much dynamic range to work with.
I think we have proven this time and time again on Fstoppers. You can produce amazing work with any camera that has come out in the last 8 years now. I don't know why we would want to change our system just to prove that point again.
Haha! That's a deal. Step one, boil water. Step two, add pasta. Step three, stop inviting Lee and Patrick because they ALWAYS complain about Italian food. ;)
I bought both the previous seasons, and the first one is almost too good, when they are in Iceland its both funny and amazing to watch, ziggy was really funny. The second season was good but not nearly as epic as the first one. Good job fstoppers.
Is it photographing the world or photoshopping the world. Sorry, but from the promo it looks like most images are "created" as the photo could never have been taken and is actually a composite of more than one image at different times. Where does photography end and purely art start?
He already said it's gonna be a "Time blended shot" so he meant blending different times into one. It actually comes down to what you prefer. Blending is really important in photography. You can't take the detail of sky, your subject and foreground crisp clear in one shot. You have to be really really lucky for that. I hope you understand what i mean ...
Awesome. This is in my must list and I was saving for it. But unfortunately Hurricane Maria devastated us and had to use the money for food. As soon as I recoup I will get it.
David, I'm so sorry to see the destruction from Maria. My heart goes out to you and everyone effected by the devastation. I was born in the Florida Keys and my family weathered out Irma in different parts of South Florida. Some faired well but some areas were completely destroyed.
All three look interesting! Ive been interested in working along side a pro, but thats difficult and expensive... This tutorial would be great, but its still VERY expensive! $300 for each download?! $1000 for three series? Geez. Im trying to learn to make money, not be broke before I even start. Its like going back to university again.
The flight just to Singapore for PTW2 for one person was $1000....I know they are expensive but you would never be able to guess the production costs on these things.
I would love to go to South America. It really is the most under appreciated continent for photography and the culture, people, and food are some of my favorite in the world. Keep your fingers crossed though...who knows where we will wind up next
My favorite landscape photographer is back :). I'm so excited about this series!
You all should share a gear list. Would love to see it!
Can you please turn Close Caption on? because I'm deaf. Thanks!
Awesome !!! Chapter 3 !!! Whats already . i miss the chapter 2 . you guys are great makin all this !!! Goodjob ... Bts are so great too

Awesome! I had a short question, is there another wedding photography tutorial coming?
One of the best photography tutorial! What’s the title of the song in the beginning by the way?

Does anyone know which app Elia uses at 6:45?
PhotoPills I guess
Haven't tried that one, looks plausible. Thanks!
Do you use Photoshop or Lightroom for post-processing? Don't really want to use Photoshop because my copy is old.
what are the places that you went in PTW 3? does it include Japan cuz I saw some pics of japan in the video
No Japan this time around (it's on my bucket list of places to visit) but Elia does have that location in his portfolio.
i thought Japan is included in the PTW 3 but Im looking forward on the lessons
And more adventure
thanks :)
Does this tutorial include any lesson in the western US.
You shared some pictures on Facebook but no clue in this promo.
We extended our travels to fill out the lessons in PTW3 only to wind up with TOO much content....the western US travels will find their way into something we will wrap up in the future.
You means ptw4!!

Great work as always! Just wondering if it is possible to view the behind the scenes anywhere else? Or if you can buy the BTS separately? Keep it up and greetings from Sweden!

Man, I love this series so much. Just wish the full tutorials were a little more affordable.

Happy you killed the crane at 8:22 Pretty sure this series is beyond my abilities for quite a while to come.
Lee & Patrick. It's quite hard to find your PTW3 BTS vids... please list the episodes below in the Description Panel ... and do a proper Playlist. Not hard! Cheers dudes....

Great Job :-)
Great. Does it's possible to make such images with Panasonic GH5? Thanks
Yes, absolutely. The GH5 raw files have great dynamic range.

Started to save money to buy this 😀😀
In PTW 4, Elia needs to give a full Chef Boyardee tutorial. I cant ever get my pasta to taste like that.
Haha! That's a deal. Step one, boil water. Step two, add pasta. Step three, stop inviting Lee and Patrick because they ALWAYS complain about Italian food. ;)
LOL!
you must add salt before add pasta ;-)
Italians do not believe in salt
Hahah, Elia reminds me of JP Sears so much :D
LOL! It's the hair. ;)
Great news !
Nothing funnier than Americans trying to pronounce Positano XD
I say Paws eh ta no and Elia says Posey Tawn O. What is the correct way?
Patrick Hall haha I think you're closer Patrick.
Posit-ah-no, according to Italian friends at least, and the people in Sorrento
what make you to take so long time to post the videos BTS for FTW3. EAGERLY WAITING FOR NEXT EPISODES
we release them every week. New one coming in a few days
My fiancé are at work and the kid is in bed so im secretly buying part 3. Shes saving for a dining table, so don´t tell her!
I bought both the previous seasons, and the first one is almost too good, when they are in Iceland its both funny and amazing to watch, ziggy was really funny. The second season was good but not nearly as epic as the first one. Good job fstoppers.

God Damn Ad!

To answer your final question:
PHOTOS + GRAPHIS = PHOTO GRAPHY - Latin meeting 'To Paint with Light'
... if you make photographs, you are an artist.
He already said it's gonna be a "Time blended shot" so he meant blending different times into one. It actually comes down to what you prefer. Blending is really important in photography. Are you aware that you can not fly drones without a permission in 5 terre?
Yeah we were told that on PTW 2 but we didn't go to Cinque Terre this time.
he has tibetan word on his hands ...
Please tell me what it says because we always joke with him about it
Another person commented what it is but without a translation. I just looked it up and apparently it means interdependence.
རྟེན་འབྲེལ་on his hand
"posytano" Americans pronounce things very oddly (wrongly as well)
d500 got stolen - damn.
How he earns money from this??
Photoshopping The world 3
no south america :(
