Mate this is a really good review. I have the 2014 model with the black styling pack, before the 8V model had the black edition with ACC, pan roof, heated seats, electric, B&O, and of course Quattro and it’s a damn lovely car. Not sure where most critics view the interior and styling as aging but everything you mentioned in your video is spot on. It is a robust, stylish and best part has a sense of refinement when you get into the cabin. Such a shame you don’t get cup holders in the rear as standard.
Great video thanks. I’ve always loved Audi’s (except for the E-Tron). For the bumbasses amongst us can you explain what the main difference about the dual clutch gear box is)?
Thanks Disco Dave! A dual-clutch gearbox uses 2 clutches and unlike in automatic transmission, in a DCT the clutches operate independently. This helps for smoother and faster gear changes in some circumstances.
Great review - loved my A3!

Thanks a lot mate. Always good and reassuring to hear such feedback that I'm not talking mince from someone who actually knows the car!
Mines stage 1 running 260bhp with apr open intake. love it. Defo a sleeper.
Big time!
Who sorted out the remap and intake etc
@@joeybarton8663 revo did the stage 1. And the apr intake I installed my self.
Been thinking of this. Did you need to remap the transmission too?
@@bjrkK no was told that isn’t necessary,
Great video! Thanks for the help!
Glad it helped!
Another quality review. Imo better build quality and functionality often wins over a higher spec sheet from a cheaper brand.
Thanks Wayne. I tend to agree!
1.5 petrol is best option thank civic 1.5 petrol? I’m looking to new car, I’m think about this 2 models, any tip? Thanks

I like it, but I prefer my 2008 facelift A3 8P1 2.0tsfi auto quattro s line with 200bhp its on 97k miles now. But still runs smoothly
Good car!

Not driven the Civic but I'd say for everything except cornering the Volvo will win.
