I have a 2017 S-Line 2.0 S-Tronic Quattro 190 PS, 3 door. It really is designed well inside and out, is fast and responsive, interior is perfect. I think this generation (8V is peak A3 for quality and styling. I can get up to 44mpg on motorways. I think the 35 is an engine size below mine, I guess mine would be the 40 in todays language. I imagine the RS3 at twice the power of mine is a lot of fun.
So on the fence, looking at the exact same spec a3 or an A4 v6 tdi b9. Paying the same money but the A4 is couple years older but has the tiptronic box and think it will be much smoother.. decisions decisions but thanks for the thorough review.
Problem with the ct200h is the fact the shape has been around too long and they haven't made any effort to change it. I would only buy a early model because of that so I'm not spending soo much
Its true that the shape is no different. However, the technology and ride quality in the newer ones is much improved. Its almost the Porsche 911 formula they've gone for.
depends what you want exactly. A 2019 Audi A3 has a nicer interior than a 2018 BMW 1 series. The 1 series handles better than the A3 though due to it being rear wheel drive.
I’m always confused with the ‘s tronic’ in Audi A3’s. Isn’t it basically a dsg? If so, how come the A3 gets a 7 speed a tronic whereas the Golf GTI with a more powerful engine gets a 6 speed DSG (same as S tronic?). Its nice that the A3 has the 7 speed as it is a good gearbox, it’s just slightly confusing lol. Great video btw👌👌
s tronic and dsg are exactly the same, it’s just branding. More powerful vw’s and audi’s like the s3 and golf r get a wet clutch 7 speed transmission where as this a3 has a dry clutch 7 speed transmission.
CORRECTION: the a3 should be in 49th place behind the bmw 420d cabriolet on our 30-70 leaderboard.
Just found this channel and I honestly love your videos. Driving POV is amazing!

Does the interior feel cheaper? I mean is this plastic around multimedia system good enough? Thanks for the video!
Interior feels nice on this car
@@ParagonCarsLondon thanks! I’m thinking to buy it instead of almost base version of a4
Would you pick this Audi over Golf mk7.5 GTI?
weird question. the audi is comfort oriented and the gti is performance. cant really compare them. either go for comfort or for sportiness
What’s the difference with a normal a3 tfsi black edition vs 35 tfsi ? Or is there not really a difference.
The black edition comes with a few optional extras and a black styling package
Why the Brits are the best car viewers?

(The optional golf gti ‘performance’ has the 7 speed dsg instead of the 6 speed dsg) I’m pretty sure🤔
