If I didn’t know this was Handel i would swear it was a Bach invention.
Same
Too simple and awkward to be a Bach's invention
@@alessioarbore4312 you cannot compare Bach and Handel Handel is always teh enlightened element poetic and playful Bach is heavy thoughts and brain and sombre relentness of this world. Its a masterpiece of Handel anyway though an easy piece
@@alessioarbore4312 This piece was written as exercises for beginners. Its harpsichord suites are just as spectacular as Bach's. Handel was much more versatile and varied in style than Bach. His choruses are masterful. I like Handel more.
Nikola Tesla What an awful awful description of Bach’s music. This Haendel is an awkward little piece and, no, it does not compare to any of the Bach inventions, neither in inventiveness nor in craftmanship. Nor does it compare to the rest of Haendel’s wonderful keyboard works. It is not really part of the repertoire, more like a ditty he probably wrote in two seconds as an excercise.
if anyone is wondering, this lovely piece of music is in the trinity grade 7 piano book for 2023 😊
This is a really cute piece. At first I thought it was going to be a fugue, but it's not. It's beautiful anyway.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.
This is my baroque piano goal. It's so hard but so gorgeous!!
Mxxnlight if this is hard, oh boy you still have so much to hear!
@@djmelodix6868 God forbid people are on different levels of piano playing.
Ikr I love the simple counterpoint
Learn by small parts and start to learn very slowly...and you will do it! i believe in you...Also you can learn it with metronom.
Mxxnlight , if you think this is hard.|, I suggest you try F. List Variations:)
God that "SimplyPiano" advert is getting boring!
I feel Beethoven drew inspiration from Handel’s Cappricios for his piano sonatas. Very dramatic, rapid development and strict harmonic changes
I'm not sure beethoven knew this pieces but Handel was Beethoven's favourite composer, I personally often find a similiar spirit in the their music.
Beethoven would not have had access to the capriccios until the end of his life. They were not published or distributed until then. Probably the only harpsichord music of Handel he may have seen were the eight suites from 1720.
I guess you could say Beethoven got a Handel on it. ha-ha-ha
Where did you find that info from? Thanks
Самое лучшое исполнение что я нашла в ютубе
Beautiful 😍
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.
Sublime
This Channel has such interesting pieces.
Чудесная музыка 🤗🌸🤗
I like that one Handel Capriccio in G Minor
E' un grandissimo compositore ed io l'adoro.
Bach I know you are hiding there somewhere
Very good recording - I mean the sound quality - it sounds like I'm sitting at the keyboard with the lid up.
Music is never hard, only challenging. And some pieces are more challenging than others. If a piece is “hard” one is like.y to give up. It on the other hand the piece is challenging one is more likely to accept the challenge and eventually succeed.
Aren't hard and challenging literally synonyms
Umm...shut up, maybe?
@@SmegmaMale_ thats a bit far mate, even if he sounded a bit obnoxious its better pointing out there mistake
@@advayiyer6456 Yeah, I agree that was far.
But I do want to say that even though they are synonyms, @velcroman11 explained it beautifully how there is a
slightly different nuance between hard and challenging. By shifting mindset, we can do many things in life.
I think that's just beautiful :)
@@gemene6260 I suppose if one holds a certain idea about what hard and challenging are (i.e. hard = bad challenging = good) but to me personally it makes no difference because hard = challenging = good
Can't wait to learn to play this soon. Short but sweet. No more solemn pieces for now.
I agree with you. There is a truth in what you are saying. Most of Bach's works weren't solemn. It's something that scholars and critics have made up later on, after his death. By acknowledging Händel being able to write, this just by being playful, also shows that a lot of Bach's music weren't written with the intention of drawing inspiration from God.
long live polyphony! :D
Está pieza tiene mucho sentimiento,de amor alegría,esperanza y tristeza al mismo tiempo. Esta es una interpretación magistral.
Truly marvelous piece!
Shows GFH on a par with JSB!!
I can't believe Händel composed this way to simple and awkward piece. It's more sth for a beginning harmony student: a lot of clichés strung together without any cohesion.
This little piece was composed by Handel when he was a TEENEGER. It's just a capriccio
Grade 7 trinity anyone?
Хорошая разработка для правой руки .Спасибо ☺🙏🙌
what grade is this???
This doesn't sound like a real composition by Handel. There are several polyphonic issues and a bad use of structure.
Even the best make mistakes; and even if it’s technically flawed, it still sounds very nice
you are a hyper critical over analytical pretentious douchebag
That’s because it’s not by Handel. I looked it up and there a number of different names associated with it. I thought the same.
renman103 no, he isn’t. He’s pointing out what any scholar would, that this piece is seriously lacking for Handel, and therefore it casts doubt on its credibility.
@@escopiliatese3623 This piece is from Handel. It is a short piece from his youth. He used the same melodic theme in "Now strike the golden lyre again" from his oratorio Alexander's feast. ruclips.net/video/pi7L668zQ9I/видео.html
I thought this was part of an easy beginner playlist? lol wtf
Lol! Trust me it is. It's just intimidating to hear it this fast. When you finally have both hands mastered (after practicing and practicing....and practicing) you can increase the tempo and get it to this level. :)
Lol it's a pretty simple piece. Just a bunch of scales and arpeggios and 2 part counterpoint. Maybe harmonically it could seem to be challenging but idk
For all the idiots who say "it sounds like Bach" ... Attention, Handel and Bach were from the late baroque period, they share similar style and techniques ... and they were both raised under the musical environment of Northern Germany . Don't be so ignorant
I have this piece in the old grade 8 RCM book!
It’s a grade 7 trinity piece
Who else is here for grade 7 trinity exam
Absolutely brilliant. Bach and Handel are both great. Bach probably just had that something extra. Hard to pinpoint what!
In my opinion, JS Bach was the first hard rocker.
They are very different composer actually, the only thing I can find in common is a german taste for musical thickness and counterpoint. I can tell you ways in which I find something more in Handel and something more in Bach. Every human being has something more (or rather some interesting personality) in some regard 😀. If you want to know Handel at its finest you should listen to his last oratorios, that's his "more" . Jephtah is such a masterpiece as the Matthew passion is. In completely different ways.
Here's an example of that "something more handel" I'm talking about. Music that sounds simple yet is completely unpredictable and poetic. ruclips.net/video/Jip1d5WyX_U/видео.html
Another good example! ruclips.net/video/Bl1emu0qUvw/видео.html
@@johanna5688 I think that was Beethoven :)
Händel is just as great as Bach, but he isn't.
He is much better.
Bach is required for all piano exams, especially conservatory
which I want to know why
Because he brings more pain and misery to the musicians and humans think that pain and misery are human values. Nobody cares for Bach btw, he is just their toy for torturing others. His overall value is something else which nobody cares about. He had 20 kids and he couldn't write anything about his "love" life in his music. Not a happy end indeed.
They couldn’t Handel him
@@reimass9244 lmfao you sound like a miserable little angsty fuck
Played too fast.
this piece sounds like a 17th century supervillain plotting his next scheme 😂
Nice piece, not easy to perform well, even if technically not so difficult.
"Handel is the Master of us all" said Beethoven....or words to that effect.😁
These days, you can not say master, they call you racist.
@@Seekthetruth3000 ...what?
@@klop4228 I'm making fun of the politically correct, anti-democratic left.
@@Seekthetruth3000
I've never heard a real-life leftist call the term 'master' racist, especially not in that sense.
@@klop4228 Here in the US, they do.
Sounds like some early C.P.E. Bach style. Come on, it doesn't sound like J.S. Bach.
Brilliant!
This looks like Bach.
Same period bro

Bach is best than Handel but Handel make a very nice musik like Beetoven.
Handel wrote the best operas and oratorios of Baroque, he was the master. Bach didn't.
overrated
Bravissimo 😍
This can not be Handel it must be Bach.
They were both Baroque composers, that might be why it's sounds like Bach style :-)
