This is the video that made me pick up young link, and I gotta say after rewatching this video, a lot of the points made are SUPER generalized. For example, you say that forward air is simply a bad move, but it's even on shield which is obviously a good thing and can lead to edge guard situations.

Good idea for a video, i would also recommend showing footage of armada vs hungrybox matches to showcase the stenghts you are talking about, for example when you were talking about young link being low commital, or throwing bombs at jigglypuff, anything to show us that it actually works how you are describing it

Young Link has the Kokiri* sword, from the Kokiri forest people. Understandable why you called it the Karaoke Sword as in Breath of The Wild the forest people are instead called Koroks
Fire moves do not do extra hitstun. The only thing the fire effect does outside of visual effects is detonate explosives and thaw frozen things.
So is one of the fastest character in air coming from a game where he can't even jump whenever he wants ?

WHOA WHOA WHOA! that editing just took a 180 turn god this vid is awesome but honestly i think that young link is extremely underrated prob because people don't want to play a younger version of another low tier but prob one day he will get in more hands of high tier smash players.
I like using them because he has REALLY good mobility/evasion, and all of his moves are straight forward and easy to chain together.
Adult Link feels waaay too slow for me in comparison, and the shorter range doesn't really bother me. (Unless I'm facing Adult Link, then it's a nightmare.)
Toon Link is basically Young Link but better in every conceivable way.
Tier list in Ultimate say otherwise

@@StarForceBelmont321 I think in the next smash game Link will pull more moves from the botw games, which means I believe Young link would be a much better representative for people who enjoyed Links archtype playstyle over Toon link and thus I think if they were gonna scrap one of em, Toon link would have my vote for sure. I like Toon link (mained him in brawl) and Ive always been a big fan of his design but if we're being real here, Young link is definitely more iconic and deserves to be represented over Toon

He seems like he should be a great character but honestly he’s held back by a lot of things. He still isn’t bad but I used to think he should be close to Doc/Luigi but now I’m thinking he’s below Mario, DK, and Ganon. I would still put him above Link (Link might be better though it’s pretty close), Game and Watch, and Mewtwo.
So... you'd put him exactly where he is in the tier list.

If you asked if they would change Young Link when bringing him to ultimate, I would have said, yes, they have to change something. Then Ultimate game or and Young Link is literally a port of the melee version.
