Jane Clifton finally comes into her own. They gave her some really nice outfits to wear. love the rainbow dress. The look on Georgie's face when she finally hears completely for the first time is very very touching.

Totally feel for Georgie. My cousin had glue ear. They thought he had learning difficulties, put him in a special class and then my aunt discovered he couldn’t hear properly. Simple op’ when he was seven and he’s been grand ever since.
Although I don’t like Georgie, I do feel sorry for her. Because, everyone around her user & abused her at every turn. And it’s because that was pretty much my life story. So I sympathize with her.

... totally with the Georgie deafness story. I myself was born totally deaf in my left ear and 70% in my right ear. Growing up in the 70's, teachers thought I was just 'ignorant' and quite often got a 'good clip around the ears' by those who thought they knew better...

Jamesjamsi I had thought perhaps that Georgie getting knocked around by her teachers contributed to her not being able to hear very well. I'm glad I wasn't in school until it was against the rules for teachers to box kids.

Is anyone else out there getting slagged off by loved ones because they are watching PCBH on Utube. I lie now when my hubby asks me what episode I am on, I have regrettably become the butt of many jokes in my household!!!!! Well they can laugh as much as they want because after this I will be watching Sons and Daughters as I noticed that has also been downloaded by a decent Samaritan..

Georgie is sweet at heart and just needs love and attention that's all. I like her now. I wonder how long it will be before her mother graces the hallowed corridors and cells of Wentworth ??. Things don't look too crash hot for poor Margo bless her do they?.
One of the first sounds Georgie clearly hears is a tannoy call for our beloved Nurse Watson being summoned. I do wish that industrious workaholic would get mentioned in closing credits occasionally :)

Her voice changes enormously over the episodes she's in. Tracy Mann (the actress who played her) clearly isn't deaf. In fact, lots of her work has been voiceover jobs! ;-)
I always have a soft spot for Margo. She tried her best to keep her head up and make the best out of her situation, but ended up getting back into crime because of her man.

I am watching Wentworth Prison on Channel 5 and the actress who played rosaline Coulson is in it she is a character called Sonia Stevens
For all the similarities the new Sonia Stevens shares with the original one, Sigrid Thornton may as well have just been playing Ros Coulson again.
OK, I've seen all Wentworth (twice) but haven't gotten that far yet here on the originals - being my first time watching Prisoner, but apparently there IS a Sonia Stevens character here on Prison in future. In looking up Sigrid Thornton I see she is apparently the 2nd from the original Prison series to join the Wentworth cast - Anyone know who the other actress would be??

erica davidson in pottery class !! of all things !! this show is really something !!
I took ceramics in college. The clay really is rough on your hands. You use red clay for beginners , pinch pots, coil pots, you have to knead your clay like bread before you start working with it and get all the air out of it. You can't paint the glaze on the pots (like Bea was doing) until the pot has completely air dried for days. You use a stone ware type clay for wheel thrown pots not the red clay. I can't believe the "students' left the room without being required to clean up and put their clay and tools etc... away ?????
Evelyns best friends - Liz and Doreen switch sides again. They have more faces then the town hall clock. The mother was in "Sons and Daughters"

I feel bad for Margo. How can someone in her shoes fully re-integrate into society if she's out of luck for a job the moment they find out she's been inside? This was a weird ending for what would have likely been an end-of-the-week episode.

What a great show. i think i was in 6th grade and independent network showed PCBH at 11pm and half hour shows. for two seasons and thought this was how long the show lasted. we never saw again except the USA network and only showed the same two seasons. i reallly thought show only lasted that time

The infamous song "Can't Walk On Water" blasting from Wayne's Alba HiFi system. Also played during the Sandy Edwards era and when Helen Smart was thrown into solitary over the corrupt Harry Stanfield affair.
Bea should have realised that Sandy wouldn't write anything decent about them once she got out. She was hardly the type to keep a promise. Poor Margo, that place looks like a pigsty and Wayne being irresponsible enough to lose his job already hardly bodes well for them. I don't know why Margo was not allowed in to visit Bea. Lizzie and Doreen used to come back and visit her when they were released. Decent episode but a bit of a tame ending for a change.
+8ballpoolking1 I thought the same thing regarding visiting. I am not too sure if Margo was out on Parole as it surely didn't seem like it but both Lizzie and Dorene were on parole and I would have thought for sure that would have excluded them from visiting.

Live on peanut butter sandwiches and rice, potatoes and dry beans. That's what my mum and her family had to eat practically seven days a week when she was growing up. Plus beans are full of protein and good for you. Then when your dole comes you can buy some hamburger.

My great aunt always had cotton in her ears. Turns out, she too was born with an ear issue. Had something done about it when she was a young adult and couldn't stand all the noise, so had cotton in her ears evermore. haha
Margo's fella is the Minibus driver when judy and cass and Keane escape not sure on the episode but it is a later one! They're in a singing Competition Minnie and Bobbie also escape.
