Hi! thank you for your video. I found it to be very helpful. I was wondering if you could assist me with a doubt that I have. I did this test recently in my class but my prof. was confusing in explaining it (I asked her 3x) and she couldn't give an exact answer -- all she said was "we're unsure". Instead of refrigerating our tubes, we put them in a beaker w/ ice for 30min. When I took my out it was a solid (like jello), but after approx. 15min it became a liquid. Would you say this is negative or positive? Thanks in advance!
I have read a precaution regarding this test, it states we should not shake the tubes(inoculated and incubated) prior to refrigeration and after refrigeration because that would result in false-negative interpretation? HOW?
