Always love a good studio tour!! I’m always so curious about what other artists’ studios look like and how they keep their supplies organized and whatnot. Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Seeing other artist’s studio tours helps me get new ideas for how to utilize extra space in my studio.
*Hey Courtney your studio looks beautiful, aesthetic, and amazing just like you. Keep going* ❤️❤️😊
Wow! And I thought I was organised. Thanks for the tour. I feel like I owe you a tour of my workspace, but I’m ultra camera-shy. I’ve also got the portfolios full of university work (I’m 50, I graduated at 21, so I should sort them out). I’ve got the exact same Ikea plans chest and Ikea metal drawers, but I have a second set of drawers for all of the small pieces of nice papers, interesting varnishes and specialist inks I’ve collected samples of over the years. I’ve a few big, exotic plants and lots of succulents in little pots. I have orange gridded bullet journals and some small spiral bound sketch books. I use Rotring drawing pens - proper Old Skool tools. I gave away all of my darkroom kit about 10 years ago. I still have my film cameras, but apart from missing the romance, alchemy and unknown promise of the darkroom, I’m happy shooting digital photography these days. I have always kept 3 copies of every piece of work I have designed and produced. I reckon I might thin that down to 2. I need the space. I too have guitars, but I have an ES335 and a Les Paul in the studio, instead of your Strat.
After that description, I think you owe us all a tour of your workspace! What a great, eclectic collection. Do you write? Cuz if not, you should.
I LOVE this description of your studio, art practice, film memories, and guitars. Thank you for telling me about it! That guitar is actually my partner's. I recently picked up playing again after a 12 year break, and I'm hoping to get a J Mascis Jazzmaster soon! I think its good to have a number of creative hobbies to bounce around with. Cheers!
very nice studio, love your art
It might be small, but it's pretty awesome! Thank you!
Kind of similar to my studio! Best part are those plants love it!
Awesome! The plants really make it a space I love to work in!
We are about to buy a press like yours. Is your press direct drive or gear driven? We love your RUclips vids.
Nice set up!
Thanks!
Are you a full time artist?
Nope! I have a full time day job!
