Aloha Emily, I very much enjoyed your studio tour and the things you shared along the way. I especially love your silly introduction as I'm a silly goofball myself and always love it when I come across another one. You are so lucky to have all that space to create in! And a loving husband to create that very clever drying rack! I have many altars throughout my home that express my different joys and interests. I'm very happy that I found your channel and look forward to watching more of your videos!✨️🌙🌈🌺🙋♀️
Thank you so much for coming to the studio! I do feel lucky to have all this space - there was a time when all I had was a coffee table to work on. And altars are such lovely things to have around the home, no? I'm so glad you're here ❤️
Love so so much your videos! They really motivate me to keep painting as well ❤️. At the end of the video, when you mentioned you also have anxiety and depression, just touched me. I'm dealing with the same as well(Pure OCD) and is very interesting how art can strongly benefit us for our healing process. Thanks a lot for your videos content :)
Yes, exactly - art helps to quiet my mind and I can feel the difference psychologically if I haven't made the time to be creative. It truly is a balm for the soul. All the best to you on your painting (and life!) journey 💞 !
So good! What a cool and beautiful video. My heart rate dropped and I felt so relaxed watching this video. Thanks for showing us your amazing makers space ❤
I LOVE that Joseph Campbell quote so much!!! Your studio is so tidy and bright and beautiful, cozy, and happy. I can see why your work gives off such good vibes!
Thank you so much - I love it here! And I'm always happy to connect with another Joseph Campbell fan - I was thrilled the day I found his lectures on Spotify!
It is not dumb and I am going to shamelessly copy your clorox wipe sock idea if you don’t mind. Though I may decoupage it because I almost lost my mind trying to hem up these curtains in our new house. Love your new studio!
Omg I remember the og studio!! It was so memorable. I'm so proud of everything you have become! I love your art and have always felt such a calm and been intrigued by your art
I would love to see book recommendations from you, works that inspire you and tune in to the mystical atmosphere that you exude.
Love that!!
Well now I think I'm gonna have to do just that - I have so many good ones to share ❤️!

❤️ I'll bet you make all kinds of magic there!
Your Bestie kitty is adorable! I loved your studio, you deserve it…you do such stunning work. Thanks for the tour..

Thank you so much! I highly recommend Campbell's "The Power of Myth" but you can also find his lectures on Spotify!
Lovely lovely space! 💙 And I agree, it's important to surround ourselves with paintings, drawings and quotes, etc. that inspire us to keep creating.
thank you! And yes that's it - you have to keep your cup full, so to speak :)
it´s so personal
I just realized every pouf I've ever bought her has been square! I'll keep my eyes peeled for a basket :)
Beautiful & inspirational. Thank you!

Decoupage is a good idea too! Oooh or maybe make a decoupaged "sleeve" (like to-go coffee) out of stiff paper so it's reusable! 💞💞💞
@@TheDiggingestGirl genius!!!
Love the studio tour! And I totally agree: Bag End is ultimate goals.
Don't we all just want to fade into the forest, to garden, eat, have occasional adventures and parties under a big tree? What a life!
Omg I remember the og studio!! It was so memorable. I'm so proud of everything you have become! I love your art and have always felt such a calm and been intrigued by your art
aww Heather you were there at the beginning! The photos luckily didn't reveal how absolutely filthy it was in that studio lol. You're wonderful 💞
Beautiful studio! Hope to have one too one day ❤
Thanks, I hope you do too ❤️
Loved this. Have you a video where you tell us about your name, "The diggingest girl"?
thanks! I don't yet, but that's a great idea 👀
