    I so enjoyed your tour. The best part was hearing that you are working on another book! I was so excited when I got your first book - I committed to a lesson every day for 30 days and couldn't believe how much I improved. (When I came to the Tucan, I thought oh I really don't want to paint this Tucan - now he is one of my favorites, framed in my work space.)
    When the day comes that I can paint your hydrangea (on the cover of second book), I will be so thrilled!
    I was a professional grower, growing flowers for bouquets and designing perennial beds for 30 years. Now, at 75, I find painting much less hard on my back. But I must really work on loosening up with watercolor - you are helping me so much. I am so grateful. Thank you!

    I DID enjoy the tour! And I like your down to earth, conversational personality. I have the same “rolly cart” that you do but to give you an idea of what a beginning beginner I am - ALL of my watercolor supplies are stored in that cart!! Thanks for sharing. I didn’t realize your giftedness in so many areas!!

    I love your art studio it’s all you could need in a hands reach pretty much. I happened to have the same rolling cart currently using. Just an idea….save it for Miles you never know how he will be inspired 🎨 I’m just getting started in the watercolor scene and very excited about it!!! Will you be having a planner for 2022 ? I’d love to have one and well it’s that time for another one. Thanks for the wonderful tour loved everything about it. You truly inspire me Jenna 💜

    Hi Jenna, You have really thought it out. I Iove your desk and would like one of my own, ..... in a few years. I like how you have set everything up. Also I am a little surprised that you have The Artists Way. This b00k saved my life may times, it was highly recommended by a therapist, it's very inspiring and just what I needed and still keep using. I am so glad to hear you are going to get into drawing and painting ocean life also one of my favourites, I will keep an eye out in Toronto for 9 Heads, hope I got that right. Currently I am at the computer where I am doing all of my sketching and painting LOL so I need to buy myself a desk and do this properly. I used to work in acrylics and air brushing murals but watercolour is totally different and I am trying to get control of my brush and not drown everything, Thankyou again for what you do...... I too tend to ramble on, have a great day.

    I got some ideas from this video. I never heard of the infra red light. Interesting. I like your video presence. You have great sound. Thank your hubby for me on that one. I work out of a small bedroom that has a wall to wall closet for organizing my supplies and paper goods. I have a paint area by a window and I do greeting cards, prints and have several online POD stores.

    Thanks for all this info, it was great; I had no idea about the red light thing. I'm surprised you guys don't get hundreds of thousands of views because I find your videos SO freakin helpful. I also bought the two books you have out and they're very insightful. Keep making your long tutorial videos, I love them for inspiration and to give me courage as I beginner-learn to watercolor. Thanks, again.
    My artist space is 3 L-shaped desks spread all around. 1 part is the business section where I work from home, 1 part is my digital set-up where I play games like Stardew Valley or Lemon Cake, and the last part is where I have my art supplies and do sketching or watercolors. The back wall is where I keep my collectibles, like Funko pops or Nightmare Before Christmas collection.

    I enjoyed the tour very much thank you! I don't have room for inspiraing items in my room. Although I do have your book and RUclips to inspire me. I love the light that comes through my window it makes my work stand out and easier on my eyes than artificial light. So I paint during the day time. I paint with you while I watch your videos. My painting has gotten much better since I've been following you and watching the way you paint. I paint for the fun of it. I love painting 🎨. Watercolor you can do so much with but acrylic painting the paint is so thick and oil paint forget that. Have you ever tried oil or acrylic? I would like to paint a Bob Ross painting in watercolor someday. That would be fun! Happy painting! 🌞🇺🇸🌴 FLORIDA.

Have any info or link to your watercolor "mixing" plate to the left of your watercolor piece, at minute marker 9:55? I have that same scanner. I bought it to scan 35mm negatives but realized I could scan my paintings. I have no idea what settings to put it on. Home mode, professional mode, etc. I scan jpg. Not even sure what tiff is. Mostly scan at 300 or 600 dpi. Only just want a record of my paintings, not necessarily to make prints or products. What would be a good setting or two?

    • @JennaRaineyChannel
      @JennaRaineyChannel  3 года назад +1

      300dpi if you print, 72dpi if it will just live on your screen. Color modes choose cmyk for print, rgb for web. JPEG is how I save my files. Hope that helps!
