My name is Margot and I am a designer and dancer living in New Jersey. I started Pointebrush as a side project and outlet for me to hone my skills as an illustrator and painter. Ballet and dance have long been a passion for me and as a dancer myself, I think it brings another dimension altogether when the artist understands the movements and technique require in order to perform the movements that look so beautiful to audiences.
I graduated from Parsons School of Design with a degree in Communication Design and went on to work at several large design firms before starting my own design business. As a child, I studied ballet but decided that pursuing dance as a vocation was not something for me. Many years later, I have returned to dancing ballet recreationally and incorporate my inspiration into the many paintings and sketches I share online and on social media.

I need more rooms. One for my painting with a lot of natural light, another for my knitting, yet another for my sewing and quilting and finally for reading. What’s a girl to do!
Sounds completely reasonable to me! 😉
Patty-I found this to be helpful. I don't have a lot of space, so I need to organize the space that I do have so I can create in a good place. Thank you so much.
I am very interested in learning about setting up swatches and a palette. 🙏🏻❤️
I’m just starting to rearrange my room, so watching this tour has been helpful. Thank you for sharing you. Looking forward to watching other videos. Blessings
I'm not OCD (that term gets overused imo) but I am fussy and like order, so your mobile paint trolley gladdens my heart😄
I have that same paint mobile except I chose vermilion. I do love the aqua too. 😊
Really organized!! I am not an organizer. Learned so much from you, thank you. I will use pretty much all of your ideas!
I have yet to figure out the best place in my house for a studio. Lived here for approx 2 yrs and mostly I work on an enclosed porch. but my other space is the breakfast nook turned office. Don’t really like the nook for creating art, my hubby and son make a lot of noise in the kitchen. So I tend to have to run back and forth to get things I need. Got to figure it out. Was talking about taking the dining room over, as we seldom use it for eating. Loved this video, it gave me some new ideas.
This was wonderful. I am giving up my studio to turn it into a community food pantry for the needy. Setting up a corner of our bedroom to use as studio space. So needed to see this! Thank you!!!
Hi Margo! Your workspace looks so fancy, what with that tray and the beautiful Taschen book on flowers. I also like the ceramic container that you keep the paper towels in. I think I might actually use that idea. Thanks!
Yes I love the video! It’s so fun when people let you behind the curtain. 🥳 I do notice your
Exquisite presentation. Lovely touch young lady 🥰
Hi Elle! Thank you so much for your kind words and support! It truly means the world to me! ❤️
Love the little strawberry plates…used to have a set of that dinnerware…years ago! thank you for this video really enjoyed it! Maybe there is distant hope for me!
Thank you Lynn! My mother owns a set of those strawberry plates so it reminds me of her. There's always hope and it's never too late to start out on a great new adventure 😉
Thank you for sharing your creative space and office with us!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes i would be interested in learning more about your swatching system.
So helpful and so inspiring.
I just love this,,thank you so much! I also like to have beautiful items on my work space and I treasure them as much as I treasure the time I spend playing with my paints. I'm fortunate to not need a job because I'm old, but never allowed myself to play, so this is all new experience for me. Just love how beautiful your work is, and super organized is so important for your business! Bravo! ❤😊🎉
Thanks for the tour! Enjoyed seeing where your beautiful art is created!
My pleasure Chelsea! Happy you liked it 🥰
I love your studio😊 it's pretty.
Aww thank you, my dear 💕
I am interested in the swatch cards. thanks.
Loved the tour! I gave up my office and creative space and packed up all my art stuff after having children for their nursery and bedrooms. I’m just getting back into my craft and trying to figure out the balance of where to store materials so they can be easily accessed/used/and enjoyed, as well as exploring where in our home I like to actually create art the best! - all while not encroaching on and being in the way of needed areas for the family and my littles. Love the simplicity/versatility/portability of the folding table. The link to the cover doesn’t work. Any other suggested resources? Is it a photography background, or a flooring material, or other? Thank you!!
I love your channel
Aww thank you so much! That made my day ❤️❤️❤️
Running into this video makes me want to get out my grandmothers China to use as palettes. Thank you for the inspiration. ❤️
I found it!
The vinyl table cover link did it work. Any other suggestions?
Where did you get the cover?
where did you purchase the PAINT MOBILE?
Lamp no longer available with link? Any other recommendations?
