Des Moines is the capital and the most populous city in the U.S. state of Iowa. It is also the county seat of Polk County. A small part of the city extends into Warren County. It was incorporated on September 22, 1851, as Fort Des Moines, which was shortened to "Des Moines" in 1857. Wonderful drone shot of Des Moines Iowa USA. Des moines iowa has the greatest agriculture empires of carrots and broccoli 🥦. Late actress clores leachman was born in Des Moines Iowa. The state of Iowa should name a street after her and build a mural in her honor to support performing 🎭 arts programs in all suburbs of Des Moines Iowa USA. I would love to visit Des Moines Iowa USA someday. Great video 👍👌👏😊
Iowa grows many things but we are known for corn, pigs, and soybeans. NOT broccoli and carrots! wrong state! california is leader for Broccoli and Texas is leader in carrots and we do have a street after Clores!

You know that I'm going to des Moines
FYI this vid is NOT up to date it is old footage The YMCA has been torn down and relocated for quite sometime. The bridges built in the late 1960's have s been torn down and rebulit you can see the workers in tyhe vid. and we NOW have the United States LARGEST Skate park in Des Moines Laurensden ! That was under construction for a little while and this vid doesn't even show the ground has been broken along the river. Just wanted to mention this as Many great changes have take place in our city! BE awesome to retake the footage of the olynpic skatepark now that is is competed. Great vid other wise!
