I was going to say that the PC gaming place with the low spec and dirty keyboard is selling itself short. by not upgrading, those low spec PCs are still using a lot of power to do absolutely nothing. the dirty place doesn't give off a 'Tech' like feeling. it just makes it look like a pile of junk staged as an internet cafe..a little bit of care could change the whole feeling of that place and make more money

For playstation sure but for PC, not really. Unlike in Europe, Indonesia has very little if any social safety net. So unless you're born rich, It doesn't make sense to pursue eSport for the very vast majority of Indonesian gamers.
If you're still inside Jakarta Greater Area (Jabodetabek), that kind of neighborhood doesn't classify as a rural area. It's more kind of favela/kampung area, that one area inside a city. I know these kind of videos are pre-made, so when you come back to Indonesia please consider going to real rural areas (the ones with a lot of rice fields). Sadly almost all internet cafes in rural areas had already bankrupt/out of business because of the hard times of 2020 pandemic For example my homeland in one of the villages inside Jepara, Central Java, there were 3 internet cafes near my house back in the day. Now it's all wiped out

I remember in 2015-2016 spent a lot of times of these kind of bad hygiene internet cafe, and then I save my money and rent some money from my parent, and then in 2019 I could build my own PC. If you look closely at 2:02 you can see he has 2 pack a cigarette along with a cup of energy drink, this is something common in here usually when internet cafe or PlayStation cafe (or PlayStation Rental we used to call them) let their visitors to lit their a cigarette in their store when they playing sometimes they even selling them or they just opened a store (or warung we used to call them) inside internet cafe so they will have double incomes. I remember when i'm still in high school days i used to buy 3 or 8 cigarettes when i'm playing in internet cafe or when i have a homeworks to accompany me so i can't get easily bored. I miss those days.

I only got to enjoy the tail end, but it aas truly marvelous time to be alive... i hope they don't go the way of the arcade, that was the best of third places imo. 20 years ago it was very common in malaysia, all the consoles and cafes, i would spend the whole day there unsupervised as a kid. They clamped down on pirating / counterfeits unfortunately. Nice to see the scene still thriving in indonesia

Name of the cafe was Siplo and It was in city called Piliyandala from Sri Lanka. fun times I used to play games with others and cafe Owner was extremely friendly as well. but cafe was closed down now prob since every household has computer rn in my country Sri Lanka so its easier to play games at home. 5000 rupiah in Indonesia is quite a large amount for Indonesian children. That's why they look so happy that you rented them a PS2 even for 1 hour.

En su tiempo tuve mi primero cyber cafe alla por el año 2013 y duro hasta el 2018 por razones de mudanza a otra provincia , soy de argentina . la verdad fueron años muy divertidos me hice muy amigo de los chicos que iban al cyber y me veian como su DIos jaja por asi decirlo la pase muy bien horas y horas jugando con ellos y miis amigos mas grandes , que lindos recuerdos. excelente canal , los niños muy lindos , recuero q sus padres me decian cuando los dejaban por ciertas horas que los cuide yo les decia no se preocupen no les dejo ir a ningun lado sin q vengan ustedes a buscarlos era como un especie de guarderia tambien , que años aquellos saludos desde Argentina.

It's so awesome they have somewhere to game with their friends! Internet cafes on that side of the world remind me of the era of arcades! I only got to enjoy the tail end, but it aas truly marvelous time to be alive... i hope they don't go the way of the arcade, that was the best of third places imo. Pure joy in a culture of shared hobbies

this video reminds me of video cafe I went to when I was in high school. Name of the cafe was Siplo and It was in city called Piliyandala from Sri Lanka. fun times I used to play games with others and cafe Owner was extremely friendly as well. but cafe was closed down now prob since every household has computer rn in my country Sri Lanka so its easier to play games at home. Still one of the good memories in my past
