About the nasty comments... I think gamecritic Totalbiscuit said it best: Its death by a thousand papercuts. Everyone can handle a few nasty comments, but with your audience getting larger and larger, the nasty just keeps coming.
And even though 99% loves you, and praises you, and show their appreciation, those comments are not the ones that stick out. Its the human mind, you can receive 20 compliments and 1 negative comment, that 1 comment will stick out.
Just remember there is a vast army here that loves and supports you, and will allways be there for you. Keep up the amazing work, and stop reading those negative posts, they are spewed by terrible people that don't need your attention.

The internet is so popular because it gives a lot unhappy people the ability to sit behind their computer screens and judge and insult other people anonymously and make themselves feel better. They used to be never heard but now they have a voice unfortunately. Keep up the great work.

Wow. Maria is the real ASMR MVP. Total professional. I'm surprised no one has offered her a job through her channel in TV or film. She definitely deserves to get paid for what she does. She puts in the planning and execution of a professional set up but she accomplishes it in an amature setting. It really is amazing. All i can say is thank-you Maria, sincerely thank-you. The relaxation you supply for people, the relief and comfort you give them is a gift and a blessing. You are clearly such a beautiful, kind hearted, generous, selfless person. If the world had more Marias it would be a much better place.
Maria does get paid for what she does. She gets paid pretty well actually! I mean I don't know the exact amount but I believe it has to do with the advertisements on her videos. Gets paid how much depending on views. There might be more too it but that's the gist :) That's how alot of youtubers get paid. She definitely puts in more planning, preparation, and time into her work than most. Not to mention she gives HERSELF to the viewers. In every way possible. Especially her ASMR channel persona. Such a beautiful, wonderful, cool person. I've been watching her since the beginning when I stumbled upon ASMR on RUclips on accident. Her work has always been great, she been the best ASMR artist since the start but if you go back to her videos 3, 4, even just 2 years ago you will notice the production quality, props, and her studio have advanced tremendously! So it seems that the money she's made from this & having more subscribers/views has gone right back into her channel. Love her!

Oh, people. People who are "disappointed" in how you are in real life...well. Who do they think they are? The only two people who have to be happy with who you are, are you and Darrel. If they're taking time out of their lives to be nasty, it's only because they have nothing else to spend their time on. Your joy and peace with who you are shines out of your face. You don't have to please anyone but yourself and your man. Personally I think you have a contagious laugh, and it's nice to see you being authentic. Giggling, swearing, creating art. As my 7 year old would say "people are poopheads."

I understand how hard it must be to just "ignore" those rude comments. It's inevitable that they'll stick out in your mind more than the nice ones, because that's just human nature -- we want to be accepted. Just know that there are many, many more people who love your true personality and enjoy watching your everyday life. I think you're literally wonderful.. I knew the person on your main channel is a specific portion of you, and on this we get to see all of you and anyone who expects otherwise is actually stupid not to mention unreasonable. Are you the same person at your retail job that you are amongst your best and closest friends? Absolutely not.

How can anyone say they are "disappointed" in who you really are?! Maria you are so brave, and generous, to let us into your personal life. It takes courage to open yourself up to us like that. What I see is a bubbly, fun-loving and down to earth girl. Your sense of humor always makes me smile and your joy is infectious! I love seeing a woman as creative as you are, someone who is beautiful inside and out. I hope you discard the negative comments...focus on the love because that's what you deserve
You are truly a treasure. When I first did "vloggy" type videos...I received quite a few negative, downright evil comments about my weight, etc. I read them and it absorbed me, depressed me and made me not want to do videos again. But I realized that I was courageous by exposing myself, and that an idiot behind the veil of anonymity and insecurity was not going to stop me. SO I made a decision: every time I started reading a comment that was sounding bad, I immediately stopped reading, deleted and blocked the person. Do not read those comments, because it eats away at your self esteem. If you do read it...delete, block and move on (it gets easier with practice).
Your vlogs are a wonderful insight into the person that we all enjoy from your ASMR videos. I love seeing who you really are and I know everyone else does too. Stay focused and don't let losers get you down. You're an amazing person.

I can't understand why anyone would ever criticize you for these videos. You don't deserve that, you're a wonderful lady. You have helped me through so much in life I can't begin to explain the comfort you have brought me. Your maternal spirit; this might sound a bit strange; but it helped me deal with my mother having cancer this year and several other deaths in the family as well as just some personal problems. Having your videos has really helped me get through 2015. I always enjoy stumbling across videos where you really let your personality shine through. What on Earth gives anybody the right to tell someone the way they are in real life is disappointing? Just because you expose yourself on the internet doesn't mean they are ALLOWED to hurt your feelings. Just because their privacy and identity are safe and covered doesn't mean they can be rude to other people. Being anonymous can really bring out the worst of people.

Girl, let me say ONE thing that I say to EVERY SINGLE ONE of my promoters under me in my business. This was said to me early on as I became a public figure because I was allowing things to really get to me. So here are the words. "THE BIGGER YOU GET, the LARGER the TARGET on your back." People will be out to try and bring you down because they have nothing better to with themselves. As soon as you see something negative, delete it immediately, don't respond, and keep scrolling and reading all the positive. Don't even give them that credit by mentioning it in your video. They say things to get that response and want an audience. You are an amazingly positive and inspirational person who I can tell wears your emotional on your sleeve. I'm a good judge of character because of what I do, and I have always found you to be so REAL and always wanting to better yourself. Watching this vlog channel has been AMAZING to see you as your real self. You are inspiring many. Don't forget that!😘

Green screens often don't look too good. It depends on the software and green screen you use of course, but I notice a lot of RUclips green screen users can't properly set it up and it just looks fuzzy. :) but maybe Maria can learn!

I made 2 ASMR videos and my subscribers HATED THEM!!! They were like "I couldn't hear you without headphones!" "Why were you whispering?!?" I got so MAD and never did them again! Then it occurred to me that WE (all of us tinglers) are a special group of folks. I'll leave the tingles to the professionals (Masha) LOL!!! I'm so glad to see all these positive comments, because hearing about those nasty ones made my heart drop. It's a good thing that there are only few people who say those hurtful things. I'm sure of the 1000-some comments everyone has said this but I just want to reiterate, that people who are "disappointed" in the real you, are probably the sad people who look at you like a therapist. The videos they turn to when they are depressed, anxious, need to relax, etc. and they are not equipped to see you as a real person. They have to see you the way they believe you to be in their minds. You fill such a large void in these peoples lives they can't let you be a person. But that is no reflection on you. That is a reflection on them. I have been watching you for years and I have grown to like your behind the scenes videos just as much, if not a little more then the videos themselves. Keep up the good work and do your best to know those disappointed people are more disappointed in their own lives then they are with you. You're amazing.

Maria, the way you are in real life is the FURTHEST thing from disappointing. I love how genuine and open you are with everyone, and how brave you are for showing us so much of the real you. It makes me respect you so much more than I already do. (Which is a lot!) You're just an amazing, wonderful, beautiful person. Don't listen to anyone that says otherwise.
At the same time, try to understand that the people who say they ARE disappointed in the real you, aren't always trying to be mean or spiteful. When people see public figures, they build them up in their mind and make them who they want them to be. I'm sure there are plenty of celebrities that you admire, who would "disappoint" you if you got to know them personally. It's nothing against them, it's just the real them not lining up with the symbol that they have become in your mind. I think people like to think of you as a meditative guru, a goddess of relaxation, and they don't want to imagine you as a real girl with all the flaws that make you a human being. When they see you be sassy and bubbly and loud, it doesn't line up, and it can break the fantasy, so to say. Of course, it's up to them to not watch these behind the scenes if they want to preserve that fantasy, but not everyone is that smart.
What I'm trying to say is, don't worry about them. They are a small minority, and just because someone is "disappointed" in the real you doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you at ALL. 99% of us love you to death, and would do anything for you. Maria I've been watching your videos since almost the beginning of your channel. You've helped me fall asleep those times when I wasn't able to, helped me destress after a bad day, and given me something to listen to while I draw and what not. I was so excited when I found out you had this channel because it let me see your other side that I loved to see but hadn't been able to, other then in your sassy videos haha. I find this channel entertaining and relatable, it's great! So if others don't appreciate it and realize you're a real person who has more then just one side then that's their loss. Keep being you because you're amazing! And remember for every negative comment you get there's at least 10 positive ones from people who love you for you! :D

People sometimes forget that ASMR artists are real people with real lives. I've been watching for a longtime too and I can't begin to express my gratitude for who you are and the content you generously and lovingly give us! You were the second (but my always favorite) asmr artist I came across on RUclips. at the time, I was in a very bad place in my marriage but you helped bring peace, calm, and sleep to my tortured self. the more I watched, the more I grew encouraged to learn how asmr helped you in your difficult marriage/divorce and the radiant joy you had when Darrell came into your life. seeing you being blessed gave me hope for my own life. I'm grateful that I made it out of a bad marriage and that I now know the love of a good man and I thank you for being a positive, encouraging, relaxing influence to me all throughout my ups and downs!
