CLUB WORLD VS Q-SUITE between Doha and London - British Airways or Qatar Airways?

- British Airways and Qatar Airways are two well-known airlines in the Oneworld alliance. Back in April 2019, I flew with these two airlines between Doha Hamad and London Heathrow. Come and join me on their journey and you will find out which airline is better!
We will be mainly focusing on the lounge, the boarding process, the seat, the meal and other services in Business Class of the two airlines. British Airways Club World is the first ever Business Class product with fully flat bed while Qatar Airways Q-Suite is advertised with the slogan "First in Business". So how will the service and the overall experience differ? Find out in the video!

I would like to say, right now Qatar definitely wins this. However, you should compare it with the Club Suite instead of their older product.

Great video. My once.. I fly Y or PEY mostly. I had an QR flight BKK DOH FRA.. And Service wasn't good at all. But I used BA LAX LHR LUX also and was OK. If I would take an desicion between CX and both. I would take CX as a Diamond would do everytime :)

Great video, and its a huge step up to Final Cut Pro from iMovie :) and if one day i travel around the world, ill go for Qatar Airways and British Airways.
Oh wow, haha, what an expert that spotted out the change from iMovie to Final Cut Pro.... I am currently on the 90-day free trial with Final Cut Pro, still getting used to it as it is really much more advanced than iMovie.... If it's good, perhaps I will get it from the App Store in the future.... Thx for commenting!
@@MarcoPoloClubFlyer If u like it, buy it and once u switch to Final Cut Pro, there is no going back. I personally switch to Adobe Premiere Pro for Windows as it is very advanced. :)
I guess Qatar's cabin crew are Filipinos, they sounded and looked like cabin crews of Philippine Airlines 😊 Great content. You can try ANA as well, my favorite Airline😎

Well done, very informative and nice comparison. In my view you though you scored BA often a bit too high compared to QR..I think QR is even much better than your scores suggest. Take the QSuite..is it really just one point better than this strange BA design where you even have to climb over your neighbour?
Haha, I see your point, but for my experience, everything was good due to the light load... And my seat was in the last row, and therefore there’s no need for me to climb over my neighbour when leaving the seat.... Thanks for watching!

Korean Air offers similar seatings to BA's club world on their business. The apex suite. All seats are forward-facing and have aisle access

What about business class luggage allowance in both
After watching quite a few reviews of BA in Business Class and I cannot understand why they went for the cabin design they did...makes little or no sense....Qatar the winner in that department !! The seating on BA makes it look hard for the crew to serve the passengers !! You get 5 Pandas from me !! Great reviews mate and well done!! Carry on !!

Agreed! Luckily my flight was light load (probably QR got all the customers :O), and everything was still alright, haha
The BA seats are inferior but when they were installed twenty years ago they were the best in the air. It's not a recent choice.
I like qatar airways boarding music. I enjoy riding qatar airways on economy MNL-DOH-ZUR and FRA-DOH-MNL, i rated one of the best airline been ride from

Although the Q Suite is great, if I'm flying from London to HK, I don't think I could justify a stopover in Doha with QR for a similar price, because BA has a direct flight from LHR to HK. Btw, wifi on BA is only for First Class passengers.

Any experienced traveller knows, every airline has different products based on the aircraft, route, age of the plane. Making a comparison of the airline industries first flat bed (24 years old), and the Qsuite is pointless. Especially as the Qsuite only flies on a fraction of their time slots, and BA is in the process of refurbishing Club World. Yes the Qsuite is nice, but I found the staff robotic & fake. The food was average, and Qatar has at least 3 inferior busniess class products I can think of. Criticising BA because you couldn't find your balls to ask for something seems a little whiney. Also you need to put things into context, Heathrow is far buiser than Doha, delays are kinda inevitable. Doha airport is way under capacity, and Qatar being state owned, can afford to make a loss on half filled planes. I've never been on a Qatar business or first class flight that was full!.
I would choose Qatar Airways over British Airways every tim. And British Airways as they now exist only came into existence in 1974, so they have many years to go before thay can claim to be 100 years old....
