      If you knew any history about you would have stumbled upon the fact that Greeks where not one tribe but multiple ones that inhabited in different regions and where all connected with the same language education and religion the rest where considered barbarians macedons where one of those Greek tribes today North Macedonia is just Slavs not connected to any part with ancient Macedonia.Many Greeks inhabiting Greek Macedonia do not consider them selves just Greeks they are Macedonians before anything else but non the less North Macedonia to us is considered a nation trying to appropriate our history just to have an identity of their own@@Alexander-w9i3r

    In his autobiography the Dasam Granth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh, have mentioned Kandaharis as the biggest so called religious people. This was even before the origin of the Islamic ideology. The were summoned at the very end, in a debate against the non believers, who during these debates (presented as a war to rid fear out of an individual) defeated every single religious ideology known to them. Although eventually the Kandaharis were defeated. Then it was the Chandi (the proper spiritual knowledge) that originated east of Indus, also known as Vedas(preserved in Lahore, ancient capital of Punjab, named after Luv who defeated Hindu lord Ram, his father, in another debate using the knowledge from these Vedas) that defeated the non believers in the debate.

    The sad thing about this is, these people were or are Greek by way culture and tradition, but Greece proper never thought of them as such once the Hellenistic period ended. Technically the people of marseille were or are Greek as well some people in eastern spain, eypyt, eastern scilly, or southern italy. However if you were to ask a Greek from today, medieval times, or even the high imperial period who is Greek when ask who is Greek they might not recognize any one who didn't reside inside of greece proper itself. Not unlike people who say they are European (or have *incert xyz nationality* heritage) when they live somewhere in the Americas but not according to Europeans born in Europe. Once you leave the mothership for some reason you cease to exist.

    • @a_kazakis
      @a_kazakis 8 месяцев назад +3

      @@Player-gx1eo Greece was not a single nation like we know it today. Every city was an independent nation-state. Athens, Sparta, Thebes, Pella (Macedon), Corinth and many many more. Many times in history one would conquer another. But they were all Greek. What made them Greek was that they all shared the same language, believed in the same religion, had the similar traditions and most importantly they all called THEMSELVES Greek (Hellenic). Alexander himself had Aristotle as his teacher and his personal hero was Achilles.
      As a final note, after Alexander won his first victory against the Persians at Granicus sent back to Greece the spoils of war with an inscription saying: A victory of all the Greeks, except the Spartans (they refused to join his campaign). It would be very strange to write that after his most glorious moment if he did not consider himself part of Greece.
      To say Macedonia wasn't part of the Greek world is simply a-historical and a cheap attempt to re-right history.

      That's because Alexander enlisted many people from Thrace and Illyria into his army. Some these people were related to the Celts of central europe. Eastern Celts tribes that made up partially what people called illyria. They had mostly fair hair and eyes while the thracians were famous for being red heads. The Macedonians themselves were probably descended from both groups and were only Greek by culture which was fairly recent thing. Genetically they were a entirely different set up people.
