Is it normal to use brake calipers temp sensors, and if so what relationship you figure between caliper temperature and brake pedal pressure to determine the state of wear of the brakes? Normally I hear the drivers saying my brakes are too long or almost gone, but can the race engineer not monitor something to see the state of the brakes to have a heads up and have a rough prediction of the state of the brakes in the car?
