I am almost 5 months post hysterectomy. I too had adenomyosis. I knew the same day of surgery that the disease was gone so I totally know what you mean when you said the life was being aucked out of you and especially at the end...it got so bad at the end! I also have endometrosis, I still feel intense ovulation pain that lasts about a day and that sucks but before it would laat 3 days so I take that as a win.
Thank you for sharing this 🙏
Am having an hysterectomy in 2 weeks for adenomyosis
I don’t know why I didn’t see this comment until now but I hope it went okay if you already had it or that it goes well! All the best and happy healing 💐
How are you doing these days? Have you experienced any body changes, weight gain?
I haven’t noticed any changes like that on myself- only change of course is no periods and a huge reduction in pain 🤗
How old were you at the time of hysterectomy. I am 24 with adenomyosis and i have a lot of bleeding. (5 out of 9 weeks of bleeding currently, but sometimes 9-12 weeks of non stop bleeding)
I was 29, (2 weeks before my 30th actually).
It can be so beyond hard to go through that pain and bleeding- I hope you have a good doctor / doctors who take you seriously and support your decisions.
