I still smile when looking back on Berto in his reign of terror. He was fun to watch because he finished fights viciously.
Berto has to be one of my favourites welterweights in boxing ! I miss him in the division .. it's been real !

That would be pretty awesome.
i've followed berto for a long time and he's a big welterweight puncher and comes with suprising speed and unorthidox combinations. One thing that can be dangerous about him against floyd is his ability to throw while getting hit which was a weakness for floyd when he fought mosley but berto has limited defense/footwork and relies on mediocre head movement so he'll most likely be jabbed and straight right leaded all night. Definitely still a dangerous opponent for the 38 year old floyd.
That's what a TRUE fan does, he sticks with what he knows.
If only berto had a good defense he could be an all-time great. Damn he used to be a real offensive force, brute strength at welterweight.

Andre Berto was a beast!! Even in his first loss to Ortiz it was a war. I think that after his defeat by knockout with Soto Karas he was never the same again.

You can say the same thing about Floyd's speed and movement which is quicker and craftier then Lara. This was demonstrated when they both faced canelo. Floyd faced the undefeated unbroken young champion and Lara fought canelo after. Floyd's speed and movement looked much better when he fought canelo then Lara

Berto is a beast! Those right uppercuts are fierce! However, with that being said, NONE of his opponents were and are any where near the champion skill level of Floyd Mayweather. NONE OF THEM! So don't get to happy and begin to dub him as "THE ONE" who can finally beat Floyd. I don't see that happening! Plus, Floyd want to retire undefeated and will definitely be focused on doing that in September.
