Gotta agree with Freddie Roach on this. Ann Wolfe training may not be for everyone but it definitely works for Kirkland.

Iamthistermwinner because he is hard headed and had to find out the hard way! Ann Wolf is the beginning and end for him hope he realizes that they are alike in many ways gender has nothing to do with it chemistry does and she knows how to make him fight 🥊

All props to Ann Wolfe of course for making Kirkland the fighter that he is. But IMO it would not help much if she was in Kirkland's corner fighting Canelo. Kirkland has no defensive skills. Ann can toughen her up, and maybe he would not have lost as badly as he did, but he still would have lost. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that Ann is a bad trainer. I am saying that Kirkland is not as good as he was hyped to be. It don't matter who trains him, he will still fight the best way he knows how to. IMO trainers can only help their fighters in shape, disciplined, and fight the best way they know how. Ricky Hatton tried to have more defense in his game and hired Floyd Mayweather Sr. But he still ended up fighting the same way when he faced Pacquiao, and we know what happened next

the only one that GGG should fight is CONELO he would knock kirkland out because of his style

The boxing games is politics and money. They go hand in hand. This fight will generate more money. I would like to see Kirkland and GGG fight that would be a war.

What champion has Freddie started from
    Ground up…..?…I’ll wait

Probably not many (none come to mind at the moment), BUT ..... He significantly improved Manny Pacquiao. Manny was naturally athletic with quick hands and feet, tough, and had a big left hand, but he wasn't the most skilled. Freddie improved his balance and footwork, his angles, his feints, defensive head movement, and most importantly made improvements to his right hand making Manny a more versatile and dangerous offensive fighter. Manny developed a dangerous counter right hook that we see him hurt Hatton, Cotto, and plenty of others with. So trained ALL THE WAY from the ground up may be pushing it. But he has taken guys with talent and added A LOT to their arsenal.

@@combatsportlover6919 no doubt about it. He helped improve fighters, but also help in terms of being a factor with marketing them.
Those trainers who built frights from the ground level, really are amazing in my honest opinion. To name those of the best trainers.

@Gabriel what I’m saying is that talent is developed from the ground up. That takes a lot of work, dedication and sacrifice.
Navigating the golden gloves, amateurs isn’t easy.
Freddie is a good coach who does well will already developed talent. He sharpens their tools, but the guys who have done it the hard way is a different level of respect.

@Gabriel agreed, but the original comment was what champions has Freddy developed from the ground up?
      Simple answer is 0
Not knocking him. He is a hall of famer. I just have a great respect for those who has developed fighters from early on rather than inherited them.
