      Ems i think if morales would've been "fresher" for the pac trilogy, he would've beat pac 3 times. when morales (or anyone else) attacks pac, pac retreats. Barrera wouldn't retreat and that's what got him wins over morales. i honestly think pac started taking something after that loss. pac did some incredible things after that. then all the sudden the ko's vanished.

      That's a perfect description for a Country's renowned Pride of Boxing as a means for advancement of one's own destiny,as well as a unifying sport at times.Mexico indeed has produced many Fighters, Brawlers, Technical Masters, Inspiring individuals, timeless Characters, Eternal Hall of Famers... Mexican Boxers, for the most part, get in the ring to Fight!!! To Show their skills,test their grit, give their best, imposing their strengths, trying different tactical skills to set the pace,all to win unequivocally,but humble,if and only if,they are defeated outright and unequivocally,no biased scores, no taint or suspicious decisions by interested judges.... The World knows,A Mexican Boxer, The Elites,Will Put on A Fight, round per round,He will win or lose by taking risks to force an opponent to fight for the honor in one's self as a boxer, for Country, For the People!! Not for 3 judges.

      Boxing fans like boxing. Ignorants like you and many others like brawls and street fights (street fights belong to the streets). If you were a boxer, you would know that brawling is the easiest thing to do, and you do it when the other things don't work or if you don't have the fundamentals. Pacquiao has learn those things in the process.

    • @pwehDuraSaFace
      @pwehDuraSaFace 9 лет назад +57

      Uriel Zinn wtf are you talking about, boxing wise morales is one of the best. but he can also brawl. the highlights here are just him brawling but trust me he was one of the best boxer form, punches, jab, chin etc

    • @urivan9613
      @urivan9613 9 лет назад +7

      jjays otag Everybody can brawl if they have to, or if they think that's the best option. Sometimes it is. I Agree about Morales being a good boxer, smart and with great ability to put his creative combinations together. Barrera, his primary opponent, in my opinion was more talented than him but you're right. By the way, there's something I really don't understand so I have to believe it's pure ignorance. Why people say Mayweather runs in the ring?
      The guy makes you miss by an inch and generally he makes you pay. If he has to use his legs, sometimes he does it but not excessively like ATG Willie Pep and Muhammad Ali, both with astonishing footwork and conditioning. He does it effectively. If he has to break you down, he does it. He is dirty sometimes. There are some clear examples like Genaro Hernandez, Zab Judah, Ricky Hatton, Shane Mosley, Robert Guerrero (some rounds), and there are some other cases. But he doesn't do it for the fans, he does it because he thinks that's the right tactic. At this level, if you don't make you opponent respect you, he will jump on you and eventually break you down even if you have the best defense. It seems like Floyd has more than respectable punching power even for big guys.

    • @pwehDuraSaFace
      @pwehDuraSaFace 9 лет назад +11

      Uriel Zinn bro youre reply too long. stoped in the middle... mayweather pot shots hugs then backpedals again. then same pattern... i don't dig that. he knows he wont win in a decision match with pacquiao because he will be overwhelmed even if he lands some potshots. I dont believe the BS that others say that pac will dominate him. im just stating that a guy with same status as him he wont get the nod if he keeps potshoting pac. because pac will fire back with 3-6 punches. and trust me they will land. ive seen maidana land some on his face and hes not even half of pacs handspeed.

      ***** Why? Rios is already having speech impediments. I respect his heart, you gotta love that. Its your right and opinion to have him as your favorite. I'm just offering a different perspective. I don't like Rios style in the sense that he blocks punches with his face. Yes he has a granite chin but he takes too much damage to the brain. I'm not a fan of a fighter who can't defend himself. You can leave it all in the ring without taking so much punishment you know.

      Its one thing that I wish more boxing "fans" would understand. Its one thing to have a solid record, but if you get that record by being a boring ass fighter then nobody is gonna give a shit about your fights. It should never be about winning or losing, but rather about how a fighter fights. Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Pacquiao, and my all time favorite Gatti (RIP) all understand/understood this and it is why they are so loved by the boxing public.

    Morales even looks like a warrior in his face. Took manny pacquiao to school in their first fight.
    Pacquiao improved his right hand and tactics for the second and third fight, but Erik was slowing down at 30 years old.. Too many wars. After 2005 his career was abit of a shame. But he is one of the best fighters to put one gloves. Very intelligent, crafty and he maximised his talent. Younger morales beats Danny Garcia, beats manny pacquiao, he already shoulda won the third Barrera fight, beats Marquez aswell.
    Best thing about him is,' when the opponent stings him with a few shots, he's right back in his face even Harder.

      I don't think he would have beaten Marquez at a younger age. The reason why Marquez didn't blow up, and was well known was because he was a counter puncher. In Mexico they didn't really like that style that much it was like 1 or 2 fights prior to him facing pacquiao that he started to brawl more. I still like both they were great boxers.

    Too bad these days are gone. Fans have the "EA Sports Fight Night" or "Madden" mentality. They want a fighter or praise teams that NEVER lose. They are the type who turn off the XBOX at the last second if they might ruin their God team or Fighters record. A perfect record means nothing if there is no merit behind it. People want boxers to never lose. Ali had loses, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Joe Lewis, Dempsey, Liddell, BJ Penn....... I could go on and on about great fighters or MMA fighters that have loses but were still great.

    where has this great sport gone? now a days there are no more great fighters like Morales, Barrera, Pacquiao just to name a few, I was a big fan of this sport until all these new fighters came up to the ring, Mayweather? Canelo? Bradley?

    • @donquixote5927
      @donquixote5927 8 лет назад +4

      The hell is wrong with Bradley? The guy has been in plenty of entertaining wars. There are plenty of entertaining boxers out there now who still go to war like these guys. Glowacki, Bradley, Salido, F Vargas, Linares, Loma, just to name a few. Boxing is still very much alive, you just need to know where to look.

    • @mmmodafoca

      well don't think that for a second.. the difference is that yester-year fighters felt they had the obligation to fight the best to be the best. Now thanks to Mayweather, the best can only fight each other IF it produces large amounts of money as well. Example.. Do you think which of these three fights would generate more money GGG vs Canelo? Ward vs Kovalev?? Crawford vs Postol?? think about it, two of these fights would actually determine who the best lb 4 lb is yet GGG vs Canelo would most likely generate the most money.
