Dust to Dust is the prologue to the story told through out Queen of the Murder Scene, a concept album that tells the story of a woman who falls in love but doesn't get it in return and well she loses it. Dust to Dust is the funeral and rebirth of the Queen, the man giving the speech is their manager Rudy, in this song he is a preacher giving a sermon on salvation. I would suggest you guys check out each song in order on the album as it is a very well written story that is inter-weaved through each song.
These young ladies are awesome. The youngest, now an old lady of 16, is sponsored by Spector and they are coming out with a Signature Series bass in her name. At 16.

Nice. Their sound isn't really metal, it's actually a modern take on the classic hard rock sound. Other songs have a punk vibe or a grunge sound and even a bit of a pop sound at times. They also have done some impressive rock ballads. Please continue.
Nice! This song was mostly written by Ale the bassist who was 13 in this concert. Karen Carpenter was a singing drummer. The dude was their manager playing the part of a preacher saying a sermon on salvation. They have two music videos. One is cinematic - XXI Century Blood, and one is a performance video cover of the Foo Fighter’s The Pretender.

Just excitment..... Is what we feel everytime we see this great band.....they have only one official video is XXI century blood and other one foo fighters cover the pretender that wasn't meant to be an official video, they were expermenting about how to produce an official video, learning porposes.

Hello ladies, Awesome..... more of the Warning!!!! Their new album should be out soon, can't wait. There is an old band from here in Canada (Triumph) their drummer Gil Moore sang 50 percent ish of their music. Hmmmm I might have to request some of their stuff.... Great reaction my dears!!! I've seen Triumph many times one of my favs. Alo another Canadian band with a singing drummer, The Band, Levon Helms.
I am so glad you are finally back to my favorite band. In addition to singing and drumming, Paulina is also the primary song writer.
Paulina starts the songs, Ale and Dany help her finish them.
Pau is not the primary song writer, while she does come up with the themes and raw melodies most songs are a collaborative effort of the three sisters.
@@MaddogJones Maddog my friend, I have watched their vlogs and interviews. More than once they have described her as such. She has stated how many pieces of songs she has on her phone. It's late tonight, but tomorrow I will give you direct quotes and sources. Pau usually comes up with the ideas and gets the songs started. Once she has a basic idea of what she wants, they get together to flesh them out. Dany has even commented jokingly that this is when they fight, when Dany wants to change something.
@@markbell4982 you're basically saying what I said. That Pau does come up with the ideas and melodies but it's still a collaborative effort from all three sisters... What's the argument? I've seen the vlogs and read the articles too my friend.
@@MaddogJones I didn't know it was an argument. I thought it was a discussion. I made a statement that you refuted. I maintain that I was correct initially. As you say, we are saying pretty much the same thing except you deny that Pau coming up with the ideas and or the basic melodies for virtually every song they write make her the primary song writer. In almost every case, she leads and they follow. Once again, a DISCUSSION not argument. I only argue over the girls when someone says something bad about them.😇
What's really cool is that they started playing by being inspired by Rock Band - now one of their own songs, Survive, is ON Rock Band 4!

"Free Falling" was released with Rock Band 4. "Survive" was added later as DLC.

Excellent reaction. Next I would suggest their song The End (Stars Always Seem To Fade) an epic ballad. The album this came from Queen of the Murder Scene, the girls wrote it when they were in their mid-teens without a major record label. Funded it with Kickstarter and Patreon. It was nominated as Rock Album of The Year at the Indie Music Awards

They did one music video. XXI Century Blood. It's the title of their first album and it's a great one. Highly suggest you check it out.
Their first music video was The Pretender cover. They shot that video to learn about the process of shooting a video. Much like Escape the Mind was an experiment to find their sound and learn about song writing and record production.
@@MaddogJones The Pretender felt more like their Dull Knives video, where XXI Century Blood feels more like a traditional music video.
They are hard rock but metal crowds embrace them too and now Alissa White Gluz from Arch Enemy recognized them and will have an interview with them in a few hours.

I know that they made a music video for their Foo Fighters cover for the song called 'Pretender'. They also recorded a music video for their original song 'XXI (21st) Century Blood'. And that's it as far as I know. You can also see in the commands that they have a great community, The (Warning) Army. 🤘

For some reason I always notice how Pau is able to adjust her mic in the middle of keeping the beat. There’s one outdoor show where she takes off her shoes and socks in the middle of drumming, again without missing a beat. And she really puts on a show, and gets the audience involved (check out the intro to Survive)

Their first reaction to The Warning was to Dull Knives but yes I would definitely say check out Survive from the TedX Talk @ the University of Nevada in Reno!
I think somewhere along the line, someone forgot to tell them that what they wanted to do was impossible... so they just got down to it and accomplished the impossible. And continue to.
There are a lot of bands that have drummers who sing, maybe not as the primary for most of their songs but at least some of them. Bands like Queen, The Eagles, The Beatles, but also my last band Defy Reality.
Honestly,Pau the drummer is the best at what she does,even at her young age,she just puts many other seasoned drummers (and vocalists) to shame. They are the future of rock ! But if you wanna check out Pau on the keyboards singing,try their song " Black Holes" or her cover of Radioheads "Creep" - you will not be disappointed - oh,and yes,that was their manager Rudy doing the monologue halfway through.
Lzzy Hale wants Halestorm and The Warning to go on tour together as soon as possible.
These ladies are the real deal. I played drums professionally (sometime back before Noah and the Ark!) and I used to sing backup harmony in some of the covers we did. What Paulina did here is so physically demanding in terms of breath control and your brain multitasking that it is actually incredible. She is one of the most impressive drummers on the planet and she is only 18 now I believe. All these ladies are extremely dedicated to their craft. They love music, they love performing, and they love their fans. It shows on the stage. Great reaction, and I hope you do more. May I suggest Narcisista. Paulina shows off some acting chops in that one, including a death stare that I would not want to be caught in!!!

FWI the dude is Rudy their manager portraying a priest/preacher sermonizing about salvation.
You are going to get a lot of comments of it, but the flow of the story and the sound of this whole album is incredible. Hard to beat a good concept album.
I am starting to listen to the Warning more and more lately, quite impressive. Another trio of young ladies are breaking in Northern Ireland. They are Dea Matrona and here's an impressive cover of early Fleetwood Mac song "Oh Well" ruclips.net/video/2lTKGH0mZms/видео.html. They have an EP and a couple of singles of originals but cover a variety of bands very well; Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn but also the Beatles, Carly Simon, Crosby Still and Nash. They are heavy into 70s rock and style.

Hey, ladies- for another lady who sings while drumming, check out Jen Ledger, drumming for Skillet! I'd recommend "Invincible", for one. Great job!
Chris Reifert of the death metal band Autopsy was a drummer and vocalist... so imagine doing some blast beats and having to sing.. although he shared vocal duty with Eric Cutler, one of the guitarists.
Phil Collins is just such and incredible drummer (or we can say was - failing health has taken that away from him) and can sing well while playing drums; although when performing he chooses not to. I can understand it. As Pau has explained it does tire a person out. As far as singing drummers go, yeah Pau is up there in that Phil Collins stratosphere. She's so incredible.

As to your question about drummers that sing. SKILLET - Alive and Awake ( drummer Jen Ledger) they are a Christian Rock band. But you wouldn’t realize it unless someone told you

Their Foo Fighters cover of The Pretender was an official "video". It was their experiment to learn the process of making a music video. The audio was recorded in one take and the video was done in three takes to get all the camera angles.

As much as you all like to praise Paulina, the drummer for doing what she does, she is not the main vocalist of this band. Daniela the guitar player is and she is amazing. They only have one traditional video of an original song of theirs and its called XXI Century Blood. You all should check it out. It was released about 4 years ago. They are also on the verge of releasing their 3rd full length album and its something we The Warning Army are impatiently awaiting. The release cant come any sooner so be ready for their best original music yet!!!! It gonna be epic!!!! You have been warned!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@MaddogJones Its a cover song though and not an original. I think anybody just starting out and wanting to know this band would choose an original over a cover anyday. If they don't really care then ok, "The Pretender" is their first professionally shot music video.
@@LaredoIsntSoBad Um... what!?! Every great band does covers at all stages of their careers... Metallica released two albums of covers with videos to boot. Led Zepplin, The Beatles, Deep Purple, Motorhead, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne. Jimi Hendrix all have recorded covers. This notion that doing covers makes you a lesser band is insane, hell the Foo Fighters and Nirvana embraced covers. Bands do covers for two primary reasons. One, to pay respect to the original artist and two covering a song brings new ears to your band.
@@MaddogJones I'm not saying covers are a bad thing. Not saying anything negative towards covers. These ladies wanted to know if The Warning had any professional videos. To me their original songs are their videos. The Pretender although a great video is not theirs and im just guessing they rather watch an original song instead of a cover. Its all about the music though right? But yea man, I dont wanna blow things out of proportion. We're both fans here and they can watch both videos if they want. In the end it still the badass young ladies of The Warning. :)
@@LaredoIsntSoBad but that was the whole point of them making The Pretender video, to learn how to make a professional video. It was shot by a director, had an editor... a whole crew. The girls were in on every aspect of the process to learn.
But you are right, we are all fans here and are trying to get the word of The Warning out there we just have different ways of going about it. I would steer away from fan shot video of their covers for sure and some oftheir originals too because quality means almost as much as the content. I've seen people suggest Dull KNives @ Heaven and Hell Fest on their channel which is awesome for die hard fans but the audio quality sucks and is awful for a first time listener...
Actually Dany (Daniela) the lead guitarist is the lead singer. Pau (Paulina) the drummer only leads a few songs but she is powerful! You've only scratched the surface of their incredible skill. More The Warning Please!

I think The Band's drummer and I know of think the Triumph singer might have sang lead on some songs, not sure about them though.

If you want to continue being blown away by Pau, I suggest you watch Black Holes (I prefer the one at the Dakota Bar). Pau on piano this time, and appreciate that she wrote this song about losing to your addiction when she was 13 years old. It's from their first full album. They did do one actual music video for the title track to that album XXIst Century Blood. It got awards (and I love it), but they decided to concentrate more on touring and posting from concerts instead of spending their patrons money on videos.

Ladies- knowing that Ari LOVES Pau (Paulina) the drummer. I have a little something extra for you to marvel at. This song Copper Bullets is always sung by Dany (lead guitarist) but for some reason Pau had to sing it for this performance. I think it was a quick decision but the girls are so in tuned to each other that Pau was able to just take it and sing it flawlessly!! What can I say that hasn't already been said about The Warning. Like you, they are on Patreon, and I recognize quite a few of the names from their Patreon page. The only thing I might add is that while "Rock Band" helped them pivot into a real band, all 3 girls were trained as classical pianists at a very early age by musically inclined parents.
