Cornet gives nice range between trumpet and flugelhorn. Stumps me sometime when trying to identify instruments aurally. Soundin' good!

Excellent performance of a Horace Silver composition. The cornet is less strident than the trumpet. Listen to Nat Adderley or Ruby Braf.
