As much as I loved this band, I loved the audience just as much. Enthusiastic audiences that appreciate great solos and don't mind showing that appreciation is what is missing in too many jazz audiences. I know it's cool to sit back and intellectually dig the music. But jazz is being created right in front of that audience at that time. It will never be played exactly like that again. When it is done so well like these cats did it, I don't think it's breaking the cool etiquette to display in voice and body just how much you dig what is being given to you.

I prefer trumpet solo. He gives more drama. Sax was ok but too steady

Nice. Like the contrast between the fire of the Trumpet solo and the subtlety of the piano following it. Good job.

I thumbed it up, no problem but, frankly, it sounds like the drummer is having a nap, he slows down everything

It’s a bossa it’s supposed to be nice and relaxed. Kind of sitting on the back end of the beat
