cracking review & really good job, there should now also be a USB-C port on the passenger side of the rear view mirror, for powering dash-cams. Hope they do same with new Octavia.

With this new generation VW Passat and Skoda Superb, althought the exterior can be seen obvious shares parts, the interior design of the Skoda for the first time looks more premium than VW Passat. My take will be to the Superb.
It is a beautiful car, in some aspects better than the new 5 Touring, what triggered me is that poor integration of the driver's display, placed in front of a design used by older integrated displays or dashboard. If they would have integrated it would have been much nicer.
Comparing Škoda Superb with BMW 5 Series is like comparing Beer and Wine.
only thing that lets it down is the drivers display, looks like they gave up trying where the rest of the car is excellent
Personally I do not like the most important part of the car nowdays - yes the displays, they feel awkward, my advice for VW is to look to korean cars!

Couldn't agree more. Analogue dials, integrated infotainment screens look far better. We spend all our time behind the wheel looking at the dashboard.

Have they improved poor wheel sound insulation, uncomfortable rear bank for tall passasnegers, flat sound of canton sound system, poor breaks or just give a new body and some buttons on board? ;)

@@gordonhamilton727 hah. You are wrong. I am owner of mk3 (3v3) from 2020 ;) and going to have a mk4 next year…and simply ask questions to all those things I found driving during this time :)
Yes they have, i drove S4 last weekend in L&K package - and if i compare it to my 2017 Superb 3 in L&K package it is quiter a lot, they have two-glass windows, better insulation mainly because of Hybrids which are silent to drive. - Materials, whole car was a big improvement from outside to inside over my Superb 3 and the infotaiment - oh god, i lost words - it was great.
Great looking exterior. Front looks better than Passat. Passat looks better in the back. Skoda looks better from the side. Skoda interior looks better than Passat, at least on video. Have to see in real life to make a definitive opinion.

Tre' sa o dau in romana, ca is cam nervos sa pot sa zic in engleza totul. 68k eur?!?!?!?

E doar un facelift obosit. E o gazoasa, nici macar electrica.
Ma uit si la o Superb sau Passat nou ca masina de familie alternativa la Tesla Model 3, dar ca masina cumparata de firma. Si vad ca ele, acum, pe stoc, incep de pe la 36k. Si nu sunt diferente majore de aspect. Sunt sigur ca nici de performanta. Si atunci cum sa dau 68 de mii pe asa ceva? Nu e nici ceva premium, de lux. Cine dracu are 70k si i-a da pe un break de familie rudimentar?!? Nu pot sa inteleg calculele skoda.
Nici daca mi ar da firma atatia bani nu as alege vreodata Skoda Superb la banii astia.
Mult mai ieftin iei Kodiak vRS sau Enyaq. Sa nu mai zic de cate alte branduri si modele mai interesante sunt la banii astia.

It's nice, looks premium. Front reminds me of last gen 5 series BMW. They also took that "matte" gray grille color from BMW M550i, it's called "Cerium Grey". Thanks for this review!
