Dude, I always enjoy your sports commentary. But I’m going to be honest I forget that you are like smart smart… then you talk about real issues and I get slapped in the face with knowledge. Thank you.
The first person a Man should be able to open up to and trust his is Father. There's really nobody to trust first. Lot of us didn't have an opportunity to tell our feelings to somebody so we learn to keep things to ourselves. Speaking from experience. I tell my 10-year-old and his two younger brothers that they can always say something to me win lose or draw I'm on their side always.
I can think of 5 good reasons why a man dont open up. 1) hes belittled or emasculated, seen as weak 2) he is hit with deflection for reflection (it goes both ways tactic to make it about the woman) 3) straight up rejected 4) his emotions is used against him 5) others listen to respond instead of listening to understand
I live in a society that will do more harm than help. The more they know about you, I have found people to open up to but they're not in my community, People Will use your problems as juicy gossip or Ammunition when angered, hard to trust the right person That actually cares
Mr. Wiley, thanks for your time and efforts in putting this out; its a great service!! Three quick questions: As an ex NFL Player, im sure you know of or knew players that committed suicide... What happened?? Two, whyd you change your original format? And Lastly, can you PLEASE bring back "Funk Ip Some Comments"?!? Thanks IMMENSELY for your time 🤜🤛🙏✌️
Burden of performance is the reason why men don't open up in general. Why they don't open up to a specific person is because that person hasn't established an atmosphere of being a person they be opened up to. Men do know how to communicate their emotions and feelings. Dude stepped into the femcentric stereotypes with that line. They do it in different ways than females that a femcentric society has shifted into thinking is the optimum way of doing it. Men don't or even shouldn't open up to women because men are aware of men's resistance to open up, and why, and are aware of women's resistance to not run and blab to everyone what a man opens up to her about. And why. Women are aware of men's resistance to open to women, but don't know why. And women are aware of their resistance to not run and blab to everyone what a man opens up to her about. But they don't know why that would make somebody avoid opening up to them.
For all the harm that men do, they would spread more misery by opening up about their problems. Men don't talk about their problems to people who can't fix them. And the only thing that can fix most emotional problems is time. The worst people to tell your problems to are the people who want to hear about your struggles. That's a fast track to getting manipulated and it makes it worse

I really can’t express myself unless I’m pressed like that
