This is a fun idea. I like an idea with using books that I already have cause there are some I legit forgot what they are about other then the reason why I bought it. Challenge 1.) is to read a book on your shelf you haven't read yet that you don't remember what it is about, 2.) Pick your longest book to read on your shelf, & 3.) Pick a book on your shelf that is in a series you have been meaning to get back to. Happy reading! As an avid reader I know we all have a backlist that we need to work on.

Favorite color? (Pick a book with that color on the cover)
Favorite movie? (Pick a book with same aesthetic as your favorite movie)
Favorite food? (Pick a book with food on the cover/foodie mystery)
Dream vacation? (Pick a book that has a location you want to visit (if you could))
Favorite animal? (Animal on cover)
Favorite book genre? (Pick a random book that fits the genre)
You could do your own things, but that would be cool!

Challenge idea- buying a book that starts with each initial of your name. For example: My initials are MMP. I would buy 3 books - two books that start with the letter M and one book that starts with the letter P.

If you’re wanting to read some GREAT romance books without having to “skip” scenes, there are some AMAZING closed door romances on the market nowadays!!! They can still range from sweet to fade-to-black but they never go past that. Most of them are independently published through Amazon, but a lot of them are on KU!
If you’re looking for more, what I like to call zesty romance, Leah Brunner & Katie Bailey are great!
If you want great characters & heartfelt stories Emma St. Claire, Savannah Scott, and Annah Conwell are some great options!
Just wanted to give some recs for some books if you got tired of skipping. ☺️
(They are not Christian fiction, but I do have some great recs in that genre too 😝)

You have to read the timeless series soon! The first book is called When The Day Comes and the series is a historical fiction Christian romance. They can be a tiny bit slow paced but once you get into them, they are so good.

hey! if you liked defy the night(which i havent read) you might really enjoy the legend triology! i know it is very known series but it reminded of that and you will get attached to the characters more. the legend is a dystopian book though! anyway, loved the video

I always wanted to do a reading challenge where you use a random number generator but it picks a year and you have to find the book that was published that year! So 1900-2024, say 1922 comes up you find a book you want to read published in 1922. Love your videos!! 🥰

This was such a fun challenge! I think you should do this challenge but with Ians books but the twist is he picks the 1. Title of the book
2. The Cover of the Book
3. Pick the book by just the color of it.
He can't tell you what they are about
You go in blindly and read the top 3 that he picks!

I was in a bookstore and saw girl abroad and thought that it looked really cute and I was so excited that it was a book I have never heard anything of and have never seen before that I picked it up having read half of the description and one random page.
Unfortunately I didn’t love it because it was so ridiculous with all the guys being so into her and I found it too long, but I loved the experience nevertheless.

Random challenge idea. What if you only read books with MCs that have your name (or someone you know's name) for a week?
I would have hit up the cozies for a title only book. Mystery but you are pretty safe for language, sexual content, etc. they can be a bit slower but they are always fun imo....maybe I am biased lol..
Well slow might not be the right word... It's just that you get slice of life along with the mystery

I love this concept! Do you mind if I steal it from you so I can do the same thing? The Alyssa Cole book you talked about sounded really good to me so I added it to my wish list. And I absolutely love the Defy the Night series. Ray and I have both read the entire trilogy and it’s a 5 star series for the both of us. I do hope you continue the series at some point because it gets so much better. I love the characters and you really get to understand them more as the series goes on.

A reading challenge that you could do is read books for a week. But all the books you read are books that your mother picks out
Ohhh sweet girl!! This is a great challenge...and also when knowing something about an author you've never read comes in handy! I know Alyssa Cole is popular, but GIRL....her language in the 3 books of hers I have tried is atrocious!! Her characters always "seem" to use cuss words and it is so distracting and detracts from the story! She is just not an author for me! When you held up that book I started yelling at my TV to you saying "NOOOOOO Ashlynn!! Your tender heart can't take that author!! Put it down and step away girl"!!! Silly of me I know, but I'm old enough to be your mama and I wanted to protect you!! This would be a fun challenge to do in a used bookstore! Or, like others have said, shop your bookshelf...and maybe include Ian's book shelf too!! Great video girl! I would take back the Alyssa Cole book! I LOVE your videos! You are a cutie pie!! Keep up the great work!
