I gave addie larue 2.5* as well... maybe even 2* 🙈 it was my most disappointing book of whatever year i read it (not worst, but definitely most disappointing...) happy to have a friend over here in unpopular opinion corner 🙃💖

This was so fun! I love seeing your reactions. I actually liked Addie LaRue and gave it 4 stars. I enjoyed the story but wasn’t crazy about the ending. I’m currently listening to Divine Rivals and I love the narrators. I’m enjoying it so far. I hope I love it as much as you did.

I was so happy to finally hear someone not like Addie LaRue. I thought I was missing something when I got to the end of the book and really didn’t like it. Her relationship with death/the devil really icked me out. 😂 Also, love your commitment to updates, even after being completely numbed by the dentist. That was perfect content. 😂

Girl, I'm TOTALLY with you on Addie LaRue. I enjoyed the beginning, the ending was alright, but the middle was so insufferably slow I thought I was going to lose my mind. I know it's done on purpose but it was not enjoyable 😂

I read Divine Rivals and Ruthless Vows and I found it to be a cute and fluffy read, I loved the love story between the 2 main characters and the magic typewriters that helped them but for me it was the part of who the enemy and why they were at war that I didn’t like so I gave both books a 4 ⭐️

Omg i am reading Addie LaRue right now and feel the same way, it just draaaags 😢 I feel like the 'its on purposes to give a feeling of eternity' thing is just to try to cover poor pacing, but maybe that's just the cynic in me 😂 Addie also has all the personality of a cardboard box so I don't really care what happens to her... I'd dnf but want to finish so i can join any conversations on it 😭
