Review: This is my first video I've ever seen of yours, thank you RUclips algorithm, and I have a lot to say. You? Immaculate, sweet, passionate. Your voice is so great, I could genuinely see you being a voice actress. It's very airy, gives off a lot of emotion, makes me excited alongside you. Your Husband? Immaculate, sweet, passionate. An INCREDIBLE beard, I couldn't go on without mentioning that. I was shocked in finding out most of your videos feature only you. He has such a natural way about being on camera.
I think a lot of this is helped by your chemistry. You two are adorable, and I now have a new goal in life to find a partner/dear friend who would trade books with me like this. I loved your willingness to try out things you had never planned on reading, or had put off for so long. You balance each other shockingly well, both have insightful things to say about what you've read, and the video would not be the same if it was only one of you. Not because of the video concept itself, but because of how much presence you both have. I'll say it again, IMMACULATE.
Also, as an added bonus, I now have a handful of books I'm interested in picking up!

I just finished my umpteenth reread of The Hobbit and I'm so glad to see you loved it even though you were hesitant going in! It's such a great, cozy book. If you haven't read it yet, The Wind in the Willows has similar vibes, except WitW is full on cottage core 🤭

Unpopular opinion but Six of Crows was just ok, while it was better written then the initial Grishaverse trilogy just by way of having developed more as an author by the time she wrote it I think the story of the trilogy is better than Six of Crows. I did think Crooked Kingdom was a step up from it though and on par or maybe even a little better the the trilogy.

I am glad this popped up on my RUclips homepage. A great video! You guys should do more together. I'll have to check out some more videos of yours! Also I am very glad that you read The Hobbit! I can see how it is intimidating to actually start. I was in high school when the original Lord of the Rings movies were out, so we actually read The Hobbit as an english class in grade 11. We also read The Fellowship of the Ring in grade 12 english, then my teacher actually took our class to see the last movie in theatres around Christmas 2003. BUT it took me until I was 29 to read the rest of the trilogy because of the intimidation factor (how silly though lol). Please read the rest of the books one day. It is worth it. I have reread The Hobbit a few times. I like it much more than the movies as I think they are padded (especially when you consider that the original Lord of the Rings movie are perfection).
